EXCELLENT

WE ARE UNITED AS A TEAM WITH CO WORKERS.I HAVE LEARNT TO RESPECT REGARDLESS OF THEIR SEX OF COLOUR OF THEIR SKIN.I INJOY COMMUNICATION WITH CLIENTS WITH THEIR MOTHER TONGUE ESPECIALY IN A DIFFICULT SITUATION.THE JOB IS CHALLENGING IF THEE IS NOT ENOUGH INFO ABOUT THE CLAIM AND YOU CANNOT GET HOLD OF THE CLIENT AS THE AND SHE OR HE DOESN'T REPOND TO YOUR EMAILS

Seeking longterm contract

It is a great experience but no benefirts Pressure of claims that need to be executed Good team spirit responsibility and management the people that is so helpfull keep up to date

Great work experience

its a great environment ,I learned to interact with different people and handle conflicts ,be able to assist other people bring joy to me ,I have learned to avoid hectic work load I must manage my work according to what's is working for me and the company made me realize my strong assets that's makes me stand out

Pros: the work makes easy to be suitable for other position as we try to know everything cause we client response
Cons: 08:00 to 14:00 and overtime when there is too much work load (optional)

I can do data capturing Dealing with clients telephonically Doing costing calculation Email communication Customer service Can multi task as I will like to do everything so I can help when a department is under staff and willing to learn more

Going to insurance learning academy helped me

I now can handle difficult people, Can calm down angry clients Do calculations of costing Exellent with admin and call centre  able to work as a team mamber Willing to work overtime to service clients

Awesome company to work for but middle management make it difficult for staff to grow

SANTAM is a good company to work for and but there is allot of unfair treatment and favoritism among middle management Staff is amazing people who become your family and stand up for one another, there is allot of good workers that is not being acknowledged

Excellent Client Services

Typing, printing, faxing, emailing, photocopying for clients. Creating Business Cards, Invitations, Obituaries and other documents for clients. Customer advice and referrals. I work with great team members who are willing to both teach and learn from one another. I have learnt how to be part of a team as well as work independently without supervision. Helping a client achieve their need is the most enjoyable feeling about my job. Helping someone who doesn't need help is stressful and result in job dissatisfaction.

Pros: Great opportunity to meet different ethnic groups and learn their behaviours without being judgemental
Cons: Low income which doesn't meet living standards

Learning opportunities are always there. CPD hours and other training provided

I have learnt, achieved, improved, trained, resolved, volunteered, negotiated and grown more than many people do in a lifetime, due to my ambitions and taking pride in what I do. Fun place to wake every morning to be in, always laughter , Team work , activities, however, you need to be fast all the time to not fall back.

Pros: great opportunity for up-skilling yourself,
Cons: promotions are in Favour

Excellent learning curve

Examining insurance proposals. Collecting background information and assessments of risk. Analysing statistical data using specialist computer programmes. Writing quotes and negotiating the terms with brokers and clients. Determining premiums. Deciding the wording of policies. Preparing insurance policy terms and conditions. Liaising with insurance brokers and customers.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: long working hours
