It was a great place to build functions

Reached the proverbial ceiling after 12 years. Company also went through a series of disruptive leadership challenges and changes which brought about an unwanted inertia within the executive and senior leadership teams.

Pros: Great place to implement new things
Cons: Dated HR practices

I supervise 5 Staff members. I work in the Blood bank, where we deal with Patient's lives. I work under pressure, as time is critical due to the nature of my work. I enjoy knowing that, I contribute at saving lives. The most challenges I face at work, is Staff problems (but I have systems in place to resolve these), equipment problems (this is vital to the daily operation of the Lab). I work very well with my co-workers, we are a team.

Pros: Oppotunity to grow with the company.
Cons: Some managers do not appreciate the employees. You can be victimised if you do not stand up for your self.
