I'm the people's person who like team work in workplace. The Post office they game that opportunity develop my knowledge by - I was given busary as a result I have completed my 3 year degree in 2015. I'm intended to study towards my honours the year ; I havecapplied for busary in order to proceed with my studies What I enjoy the most it to inter- act with internal & external customers on dailly basis; resolving customer complaints; resolving conflict among staff The challenging part is the "resources" that's not available it does have negative impact to our customers

Leading, organising,controlling and motivating

Receiving, sorting of mail, stork ordering and accepting of Deposits and withdrawals, bill pàyments and also to redeem cheque into cash. Insuring that work activities are being done accurately for the success of the company. Learning thatTime management is what is most important not to delay clients with service. Paying more attention that is to presented to clients or company management. Being honest to team members to generate ideas to make work much easier. That when we work jointly with understanding of others differences helps to build a strong working relationships. Building a perfect relationship with clients is what a value. Problem solving in challenges to come up with strategies to overcome the obstacles. The use of creative thinking. The pressure of work when these shortage of workers. Dealing with difficult clients.

Learning about customer service

It was grate opportunity to work for post office, I learned alot of things, which relate to retail, and I am happy to said it was grate experience, working with customers , my colleagues, the working environment, everything.

EXCELLENT EXPOSURE

I serve more than seven divisions on contracts drafting and legal advising on corporate governance and related field like risk and compliance. Help from HR, RISK AND COMPLIANCE, MAIL, RETAIL,SCM POSTBANK, TRANSPORT/LOGISTIC AND COMMERCIAL. I Draft, negotiate, vet and review contract, give legal opinions and facilitate the overall contract management.

Pros: execellent field for growth.
Cons: not to much support from executive, we under staff

Great experience, but very stressful due to lack of funding to the Organization by Government

dynamic work place and anything can happen on the day workplace very unpredictable good stakeholder relations, People know the name Charles Petersen, due to my previous union activities not everyone likes Charles but that is the nature of the job learned to manage people can be challenging enjoy working with people and the diverse group of people i work with very unpredictable

Long hours hard work

Constant interaction with trade unions, attending matters at the CCMA or regular basis. I have a professional relationship with co-worker which took year to build. I have learned that hard work pays off. I have also learned that working for a parastatal is extremely challenging especially when political influence is at play when hard business decisions has to be taken.

Pros: You are exposed to many facets of business. The Post Office has a retail, transport, operational side, HR, you therefore get to learn it all.
Cons: political influence in business decisons.

Excellent learning curve abd vast experience with different types of personalities

ompaReceiving, Order processingand distribution. Liason with different stake holders for distribution of stock and staff uniforms. The xhallenge is the company downturn due to drop in production due to financial difficulties faced by the company.ny is
