My day revolves around the plants that i service, meeting with customers to identify issues and shared learnings. I constantaly collaborating with my customers, have a win-win attitude, deals with problems and prioritise according to business objectives.

Great working environment.

Working as a Financial Accountant at a Mine is very fulfilling I have had the opportunity to interact with people from various career fields such as Engineering, Project Managers and Procurement to name a few. The amount of knowledge acquired is immense and I can only keep on growing. I have learnt the importance of work life balance and how it can affect my performance. I enjoy the fact that my job always challenges me and thus I keep on learning.

Good communication skills

I am a hard worker, i have ability to work under pressure with or without supervision, i am good with a team and individual. I worked with hardware, software, internet, servers, network cables etc

I have been learning through different people and different mines different skills

For the past 2 years I have been moving from underground to underground mine for technical and safety exposure At the moment am acting angineer at main substation of the Mine

A very quick learner

I am a qualified Artisan under MQA 8 years ago. I have much acting experience as Mechanical Supervisor and currently acting as Task Planner in planning office. The reason for my application is to get a new experience in new enviroments as i am driving myself towards Technician level. I am a person that likes to progress in terms of Mechanical Career till I get an opportunity to prepare myself for GCC.

Management experience

this is an exciting and vibrant company to work for with lots of young people taking their place in the corporate structure. The environment is dynamic and never a dull moment in the production world. I am still learning to manage people (an exciting challenge) however relationships are healthy and well maintained amongst my peers and subordinates. The biggest challenge in my current workspace is definitely managing people and again is the aspect I enjoy the most because I love sitting and talking to people to tap into their minds to try and understand what makes them tick and do what they do.

Learning curve

The company i work for is world wide recognized and takes safety serious. I have tools that i could have not had at an early stage of my career. I have been doing my job for long so i am very confident that being a mine planner is what i do best. Being at one company for 7 years has resulted in a routine job. The environment does not challenge me anymore. My salary has been in one bracket for years. I am good at what i do, i just want to do it for another company or commodity.
