Growth opportunities

We work as a team and we manage to achieve a lot of things, safety records, maintaining the plant to perform at its best, suggesting better ways to improve the process and working environment. Training the maintenance team different roles within the planning office.

Excellence learning curve and good experience

I use to work for Siemens as a field service technician on Drive and i gain lot of experience technical wise and also professionalism in customer certification.

Great mining experience

Workdays start normally but can really turn to a headache in a moment when a pipe leak is detected. I've learnt to work without supervision, be pro active and give proper feed backs to my supervisor. You never know if you're going home on knock off time.

Pros: Great learning experience and chances of promotion
Cons: A lot of breakdowns due to aging pipeline

Fast learner

A typical work day-when all the task for the day have been successfully completed , and problem solving has been done Your relationship with co-workers- excellent What you have learnt-to work with different people and improved and gained more knowledge What you enjoy most- successful day

I am working as shift instrument mechanician. I work hand in hand with my team we are brothers keeper I have learn working as a team is a solution to all problem solving I am enjoying where it come to fault finding new faults Production request are most challenging since they need you to speed up you fault finding

Many contractor s on site

Very well established mining company. The company has excellent fringe benefits. A large work force. Many plant areas with very latest technology. Safety is the number one focus at all time and has many good policies and procedures to ensure all employees and contractors work safely at all time with this in place Richards Bay Minerals can bewe a leading mining company in safety

Being self employed in the end was a good opportunity but economic situations killed the moral

Challenging given the current economic condition Running a business has been good experience but I have seen few months going with no income both to the business and myself Running a company taught me a lesson that sometimes hard work as it may, you sometimes it also drain your resources and emotions I grew stronger on resilience and tenacity I learned to do all processes, from planning, budgeting, etc to implementation sometimes all by myself due to lack of resources What gave me job satisfaction was no matter how small the achievement, it was well celebrated and always give me strength to press on
