Assistant mail supervisor

I am looking forward to learn a lot from your company as i am enjoying working for my firm and the problem is that there is no rewards such as employee of the month,13 chegue and Bonuses while iam taking less home at the end of the month.

Pros: Pwc is a very proffesional company and is being run proffesionally by much educated partners.

Great experience to kick start my career

Mostly client facing, thus must always be professional and be a firm ambassador. Great team work How to conduct internal audits in a professional manner. Documenting style which is of an international standard. Report writing. I most enjoyed making a difference in the organisations I worked with to make processes easier. The job is very challenging and at times requires additional hours after work.

Everyday learning

Great firm to work for. Awesome opportunities if you push yourself. Great people to work with. It is absolutely rewarding working with new grads as well as to see the progress of the older grads progressing and doing so well.

Pros: Opportunities to learn something new everyday. great working wirh the grads and seeing them grow within the firm. Flexible working hours.
Cons: Not being recognised for extra effort.

Hectic days, have a good working relation with co-workers and have leant a great deal about client relations and the most challenges that we face is when we as a department don't meet the budget. I enjoy the team building for the whole company not only on a departmental aspects

Great exposure

Typical day includes following up on client's tax related inquiries on SARS and department of home affairs. Balancing bank account customer and supplier account on pastel and reconciling salaries on Sage VIP

Great place for learning

My role entails mainly tax consulting and compliance in different industry sectors. I work with various clients who are in industry sectors. My highlights at PWC are that within 12 months in the company I received an award for showing great project management and pro-activity. I have also been promoted from Senior Associate level 1 to level 2. Such recognition has reassured my value and contribution to the company. I want to build a strong career in tax as a specialist. I am qualified With Bcom Honours in Accounting. I am currently studying towards a Masters degree in South African Taxation with the University of Cape Town. I have verbal and written communication skills which I effectively use within my current company and across its multiple clients. I'm a team player and I always play to my strengths when working with a team.
