I was working shift,earlyshift and night shift.we were working as a team help each other,i learn to take orders and make reservations when customers call,i enjoy dealing with different kind of people everyday,the most challenging things is to take orders from different tables,and being the car lady as well

Pros: u have to learn fast,and understand
Cons: I was working,3afternoon till 12or2in the morning,the was always functiins like wedding,paties

Excellent

Excellent Servi i just need a change of scenery There are great co-workers and i have a great relationship with them What i have learnt is that no matter how bad your day is you should always treat employees and clients with respect I enjoy holidays because that's when we get most clients and visitors The most challenging aspects of the job is dealing with different kind of people with different personalities ce cellent

Great work

I love working with challenges and be innovative in this fast developing world and I had an opportunity to go to all the departments in the hotel to get a holistic view and knowledge as I underwent different situations challenges and knolegde

Good experience and growth

Working shift. Meeting, greeting and exceeding guests expectations.setting up tables.serving different foods and drinks. getting to know and interact with different people with different cultures.

Dip occupational health and safety

I have worked at Protea hotel as a receptionist in Richards bay i then got a promotion then went to reservation. I then found another job in Durban at Andaluz hotel i worked there for 1 solid year as a reservationist and reception manager. Then again i switched careers and i went into the call center department i was working for an overseas company called talk talk in the disconnections department.I really enjoy helping people it and being around people as i am a bubbly and out going person

I love working for protea hotel, since i started doing in service, every day i learn new things.. Working really encourages me ro look for opportunities

waking up early to start my shift in time gives to me the positive energy to do my work productively. Receptionists take care of minor tasks from straightening up around the office and watering plants to gathering cash and checks for daily deposits. Additional tasks vary by the setting, but I'm often in charge of components like scheduling special programs and ordering office supplies. By the time the guest checks out all bills should to be ready. When a task is handed to a well-trained and efficient team, the team's work pace assures that the task will be completed quickly and accurately. This allows the company to take on more work and generate more revenue without having to add more staff. I enjoy making new friends and learning new languages ,like german ,spanish etc. Trying to communicate with a guest that does not understand english is a high light for me because then I will have use the internet and that take time ans patient.
