Great work

I love working with challenges and be innovative in this fast developing world and I had an opportunity to go to all the departments in the hotel to get a holistic view and knowledge as I underwent different situations challenges and knolegde

Pros: Great opportunity for every industry as I have been to all the hotel departments namely kitchen banqueting marketing and etc

Best experience I ever had

I'm masilo nkosi pastry chef. I have completed my tertiary studies at Nkangala College doing a hospitality course and I am currently working as a pastry chef at Protea hotel by Marriott where I have spent most of my career acquiring experience in pastry and professional cookery, also i'm upgrading my qualification to Patisserie Program NQF Level 5. My drive has enabled my executive and head chef to trust in my potential to produce outstanding in pastry where I have exiled. I am also very interested in teamwork, and therefore participate in organizing event and supporting co- workers. I feel these activities will be the way in which I can make a difference and gain even more leadership skills necessary to reach my goals. Thank you in advance for your consideration and time.

I was working shift,earlyshift and night shift.we were working as a team help each other,i learn to take orders and make reservations when customers call,i enjoy dealing with different kind of people everyday,the most challenging things is to take orders from different tables,and being the car lady as well

Pros: u have to learn fast,and understand
Cons: I was working,3afternoon till 12or2in the morning,the was always functiins like wedding,paties

Excellent

Excellent Servi i just need a change of scenery There are great co-workers and i have a great relationship with them What i have learnt is that no matter how bad your day is you should always treat employees and clients with respect I enjoy holidays because that's when we get most clients and visitors The most challenging aspects of the job is dealing with different kind of people with different personalities ce cellent

Capable of working under pressure

It's a usual thing that I get to work freshly minded to prepare our menu for the day, am an open person with good character to the coworkers. I have learnt that a person is treated as I want to be treated. I enjoy being at the kitchen because kitchen feels like a home to me, with all the elders and age mates around the most challenging aspects of the workplace are people with bad attitude and behavior around coworkers and guests.

Excellent learning

my relationship with coworkers is professional; and i enjoy doing my work and making sure its done in time. the most challenging thing is dealing with guests who do not understand my language or English this is the most difficult thing as we cannot communicate. during the day the hotel gets busy that there are more guest coming in it makes my job very hard. i have learnt that more work requires more energy and good strategy to finish the work.

Excellent learning curve

Very good working conditions with a good atmosphere and a very good team work excellent life skills, self respect,respect for human dignity and best client service being tought to every one in the property actually a very good experience to carry over.
