Excellent learning curve. Learning new skills

PostNet is my first 'real' job. It's taught me a lot of work ethic and also has broadened my knowledge for Printing and Working with clients. It's also increasing my experience in Photoshop and Corel Draw, making me more proficient in them. I've also learnt time management and how to ensure my work is ready for my clients when they need it ready. I love my team as well and the support we give one another as well as help each other when we need to.

Pros: Job experience in Graphic Design, Printing and Customer care.
Cons: Working long hours and out growing my workspace. I need new challenges.

I have the experience in office management

I have all it takes to fulfill the position. I can do all gthe Microsoft programs and assist with the general office management. I love working with people and I'm easy to adapt.

Learned a great how to design graphics and computer basics

Working for PostNet is challenging, especially working in a position of leadership, we are faced with having to deal with customers and giving our best service, designing logo's, business cards, flyers and many other things, there's not many of us in the workplace so we've gotten close with my co-workers within reasonable boundaries because at the end of the day we are at work and professionalism must take primacy, designing is one of the aspects i love most about my job

Hard work

Working at PostNet requires a lot of perseverance and have a thick skin because the clients can sometimes be difficult. The working environment is good, it is a family like environment. Would be better if we could get off days/day during the week as there isn't much one can do on a Sunday/Saturday.

Making quotations for clients intending to send parcels and other services we offer  Photocopying and filing Following up on the outgoing and incoming parcels  Tracking and tracing of parcels on the internet  Renewing of car license discs  Conduct general administrative duties  Ordering stationery and other office accessories  Assisting clients with printing of documents all sizes.  Assisting clients downloading important information from the internet  Handling internal and external queries  Corresponding to clients through emails and fax.

Learning good admin skills and people skills

I have been working at postnet for the past 3 years 2 months. In my time here i have learned how to assist people and have enriched my admin skills and I have also learned how to send parcels. I enjoy what i do but u want to build myself up. Sometimes i get to help computer illiterate people and teach them how to do the basig tasks on a computer. I work well with my colleagues.

Pros: Good oppetrunity to gain knowladge of work enviroment other than usual retail
Cons: Working on Saturdays
