Not a typical work day

My job is challenging, however in have a great team who are willing to go the extra mile ton help us achive our goals. I enjoy the passion my team has and the joy we get when we know we have made a difference in someones life. Not all days are same and that's best part about our work.

Pros: There's is a great work/life balance
Cons: Departments are working against each other

Working in the call center

My duties comprise of resolving student queries, assisting in the navigation of the online system. Following up on applications, and re-setting of passwords among other duties. My co-workers call me Mma-moruti, as they say I encourage them when all hope is lost or when they go through hard times. I have learnt to put myself in the caller's shoes as the reasons for their calling are very different. I enjoy the people I work with. It is like working with family. The most challenging aspect is, growth. Doing the same monotonous duty drain the creativity.

Great working environment

Working for the company was a great experience. I started as a data capture intern and through allowing myself to take on extra tasks and also do Marketing adhoc wor i grew within the company to a Marketing Officer position. It wasnt a walk in the park but there was an opportunity to grow and that was what i was after. The only disadvantage for me was growing in title but not the salary Full of new challenges wish was exciting, You get to literally work with all departments so my relationship with colleagues was great, adhoc tasks that always enable you to grow more, campaigns strategy planning and lead generation were what i enjoyed most because it pushes you to think outside of the box

Cons: Salary increase was scarce
