Welcome and Serving food to customer,get a chance to interact with them

I am currently unemployed but working at Ocean Basket was nice because we worked as a family or a team to say.the experience in the hospitality industry was amazing as i studed travel and tourism so getting that opportunity to talk with different cultures as other customers were from out side South Africa.Having to experienced what is was learning on the books was nice even learned some new skills😊including languages

Pros: From senior to supervise up to being the manager
Cons: On busy days we worked 7-8 hour depending on your shift

Experience

Great experience. Lots to learn at Ocean basket. I started of at Boh. I learnt the product and how it been made and portion, bulk issue. Receiving head office and the weighs of each product. The platted cost of each plate. I really learnt a lot at the back. Then I went to FOH. There I learnt how to do the cash up, purchasing of supplies. I also do a lot admin work.
