I have learned to work in a team and communicate effectively

Working as a laboratory assistant is a job that requires times for preparation of the reagents that the students are going to use in the practical session. Working with other students is an amazing experience because students ask question which requires one to do a research about a particular experiment. Working with my team is great, because whenever I have uncertainties they are there to assist and we always share ideas of how we can practical seasons fun and efficient for other students. I have managed to learn about different characters of students and co-workers.

Pros: Building self confidence in a work field
Cons: preparation of reagents usually takes a lot of time

Excellent Learning Curve

Research Reading and Lab Work Fun and Friendly Time cant be wasted Lab Work and Data Analysis Developing Solutions for problems that no one knows exists ,with data ,codes, chemistry and physics

large organisation with great workmanship and culture, great relationships and excellent autonomy, keeps employees occupied and oozing ethical conduct by management and staff.

Excellent Learning Curve

Everyday brings new challenges. I get along with my co-workers. I have learned alot from all the projects I undertook. I enjoy programming, making friends and learning languages. The most challenging aspect of my work is reaching targets.

Developed confidence in my abilities.

My interactions with students and coworkers helped me develop people skills, patience and I realised my love for working with people. It was a good learning experience and I develop confidence in myself and work abilities.

Each department is different, our dept. we made challenges that are worth completing and optimized efficiency, an awesome team of people to work with, love the people, not so much the job.

Excellent

Working as a student assistant is a learning curve for many students. One gains so much knowledge about working in academia. As a student assistant, you help students during practical lessons, you are responsible for marking assignments and the practical exams. The one thing that I enjoyed was interacting with a lot of people, this teaches you social and communication skills. This job required for me to take the lead when possible, especially when the lecturer is unavailable.

Cons: Under paid

I enjoyed working as a marker at NWU

a great experience. I got to learn more about the course that I was doing. I had a great time working there. I throughly enjoyed the culture of the university. I got to develop a lot of skills such as emotional maturity and time management. I also gained more insight on the course work.

Pros: Great opportunity to gain more knowledge
Cons: It sometimes clashed with my schoold work
