In the past 12 years on my managerial experience I have acquired experience of dealing with people ( conflict management, types of human behavior, level of maturity in cascading ect).This has helped me to establish forums which will address issues/concerns before the union would approach --> which lead to less conflicts and discussion with unions. In that the work force believes ion their management as transparency and fairness plays a major role The most challenging in Production Environment is for every action implemented you must measure --> measure must be initiated by actions Also leant how to initiate and coordinate projects. Production environment is enjoyable cause everyday its a learning curve/day. Concerns/Issues differ from da to day which requires a lot of quick and fast thinking

Working as millwright and maintenance planer

I joined Nissan Rosslyn on the 1st of March 2008, and deployed to BMW Rosslyn from the 3rd march 2008 – 30 march 2011 for Learnership training. Returned to Nissan Rosslyn in April 2011 as Millwright apprentice.01 April 2013 was appointed as Millwright artisan and doing maintenance planning in addition till to date.

Great experiance working for Nissan SA

Great experiance working for Nissan SA, it has given me a lot of exposure in my capacity of skills and knowledge of the business. I am able to work alone under pressure without any stress because I was trained very well since we work on targets.

Excellent learnign curve

I am very hardworking, honest, reliable, self-driven, initiative, confident, and able to work under pressure. Smart, presentable and hold high self-belief. I believe in team work and being proactive. I still want to grow in the Mechanical engineering field and to get more exposure in a “more” corporate environment.

Excellent learning curve

The day started at the office with work given by the supervisor or GM.. T. My relationship with the co-workers was excellent we got along pretty well. I learnt a lot of mechanical design and problem solving. I enjoyed manufacturing the designs we had made. The challenging part of the job was breaking down a problem which was time sensitive.

Achieve KPI's year on year , excelent negotiator

Negotiation best pricing at sourcing Maintaining supplier base looking for cost reduction ideas and implantation there off. Managing buyers on day to day tasks Liase globally with other plants to optimize sourcing or localizing travel overseas for meetings with engineers, purchasing managers and global suppliers.

Pros: very interesting , learned many aspects of sourcing and cost reduction
Cons: very big company lots of red tape , take long to get things approved
