Negotiation best pricing at sourcing Maintaining supplier base looking for cost reduction ideas and implantation there off. Managing buyers on day to day tasks Liase globally with other plants to optimize sourcing or localizing travel overseas for meetings with engineers, purchasing managers and global suppliers.
Pros: very interesting , learned many aspects of sourcing and cost reduction
Cons: very big company lots of red tape , take long to get things approved

Being promoted as an acting supervisor
Exciting company to work for.. Challenging very interesting excellent environment. Enjoy working with my subordinates.daily activities are so challenging. I enjoy most the part of performance update. I have learned a lot especially on how to lead and manage people or my team members.

Learning curve for me I got automotive skills from Nissan SA
I love working with cars every time when I see a Nissan ven, I feel Good about being given the chance to build that car. Nissan SA is a good campany but people who a working in it make it look bad. I loved every second working for one of the big campany in South Africa

.its really okay working here. No day is the same as before. Team work is good.
Involves fire fighting to support ops teams. Relationships with co workers is on good level. I've learnt that facts and data beats he say she say concepts. working and developing people to save the comapny money. Convincing decion makers to reason why we need to change the direction

I started my professional career here at Nissan
It's being a good experience for me so far here at Nissan. I had some challenges when I started but I managed to overcome those challenges very well. On the work that I do on a daily basis, the most challenging aspect to deal with sales and marketing especially when they want to change the firmed orders on the pipeline. And on the other hand all the materials are already ordered and the suppliers are ready to make the components. Working with such people taught me to be more flexible in my work and taught me how to deal with their fluctuation orders. I am working with a great team and we always push each other to achieve more as a department. I am enjoying working at Nissan and the department that I am in. But I believe that change is good as well.

What i learned
I really enjoy working with people, as I learn dynamic culture and behavior. at Nissan I work as a production planner (graduate ) and am currently learning a lot in term of the industry and the company values.

Hard working person
Inspections, assembling parts in car structures, Quality Inspections for cracks, maintenance on equipments, Assisting on breakdowns. We have team work with colleagues and good relationships to each other. How to assemble cars, safety in work place. I enjoy tackling breakdowns. Attending robotic breakdowns

Achieve the level of expectations
I am Investigating defect and formulate a good permanent countermeasure,Present the finding to the quality assurance team. My mission is to ensure that all the items produced within the company are off great quality. I have learnt that in order for the customers to came and buy our product, it is important that we maintain a 100% quality output product . Once the customers are happy with the standard of quality we produced as a company , the demand for our product will be higher. I enjoy to make changes that improve the level of quality on the items that are manufactured in the company. To my current work it is a challenge that , as we are working as the quality engineer , no mistake or incorrect countermeasure is expect , level of accuracy must be 100%
