It's a good company to work for

The company is large with many different little companies working under the main company. I would like to progress into the next level but there is no scope to move.

Excellent stepping stone

Working at mweb is a great stepping stone if you looking at building an IT career unfortunately growth is very slow it could take you years and years to move onto another level. The culture at mweb is very diverse and you get to learn how to deal with different personalities. In my time at mweb i have learnt that patience plays a big role in this industry.

Learning curve

I been working for MWEB for 2years. The culture and environment was different to what I was used to. It gets very busy during the week that you take calls from the time you started work until the time you leave, you don't really have time to make friends. I have learned how to handle the pressure, how to deal with certain situation. I enjoy helping out the client the most.

Working day at MWEB

I assist clients with regards to their outstanding accounts, i make payment arrangements with them to try to avoid their accounts from being disconnected, i deal with disconnected accounts as well and help client to bring their account up to date in order to get them connected as soon as possible, i send out invoices to clients requesting it and also explain their billing to them, so i handle any account queries, client who does not stick to their arrangements i suspend their account as well,client who queries their billing on their accounts, if billing is correct i give them a detailed explanation as to how we got to that amount, and if billing is not correct , i will escalate their query to the relevant department.

Great company

Very supportive and loving co workers and the facilities are made to make us feel at home. Every day comes with something new to learn as you are constantly being professionally challenged. For me it's also been a great platform to help me grow personally as I had to deal with different characters and learn to adapt to each
