My eyes were opend to newer and better opportunities

My work day involves helping people, getting them what they want and at times advertising what they don't know, and turning it into a want. We have task's off loading shelves with the latest music and dvd's and other equipment like, headphones, controllers as well as turntables. We need to inform our clients how theses gadgets work, as inform them which product gives value for money. Not each brand is as strong as the other, but you have give a clear view of that without tarnishing the other brand. Product knowledge is also a plus when you are in this type of industry and being a clear and audible communicator is a plus. The one thing I am loving about this job is that, I get to communicate with people and as a result, I am gaining confidence and I feel now I can speak to anyone without fear. I am also learning the art of being knowledgeable.

Good exposure to client interaction

- A typical work day - Co workers were cool some were moody now and then - I have learnt to be more comfortable approaching people - I enjoyed meeting people who are positive - The mpst challenging aspects of the job were dealing with difficult clients

Cons: Low salary, no benefits, poor staff recreational accomadation, poor management, stagnant work environment

Excellent

Musica is a good intertainment industry to work for, I have entered the business without any skill but today I have grown in the business with many skills. I have started as a customer assistant and now I manage a 4 million store, I drive turnover daily, manage stock, do daily administrative paperwork and also manages the stores shrinkage and expenses.

Pros: Great opportunity
Cons: Working weekends and public holidays

I am a hard worker my manager can tell you that I learn fast I like working groups and also on my own I believe you can do quickly when doing things alone I relate with co- worker very nice I like to talk but not everyday we do things together also we are friendly to everyone we believe we can work together if we treat each other like family so that we can get thing dane my the end of the day, what I learn why to do admin work filing paperwork receive stock and scanning the stock out machedasing the store they so trusted me with the store like on weekend the manager live the store with me so I will operate, the most challenging aspects is stock loss because they ask you about the stock if they customers Stoll and how they still it because we are I'm the store they reaching of daily target if we did not make money on that day so you need to give a statement to every thing that is happening in the store but all in all I enjoy working thee

Fast learner

Team work is always the best I choose to be the key player in my team Always learning something new everyday to improve my services Making sure I know ninety nine percent of the products we have and how they work Sharing information without co-workers makes the job easier at all times What's more challenging is when a colleague refuse to say please show me how to do what you did Having fun with customers is my favorite part of my job because it keeps them coming back to the store

Good work experience

At Musica it is very interesting to work there because I meet a lot of different people there and I learn different things every day as some customers will teach you a thing or two about music and what makes the different genre nice. I'm responsible for assisting customers Scanning out stock to other stores Administration aswell Sometimes it's difficult when some customers are looking for something that we don't have and it becomes difficult for them to understand that if something is not listed on our system that means we do not have it.

Very entertaining and sales developing

Maintaining the status of the Company.house keeping and a focused sales drive.keeping our customers happy always. Being friendly helpful.maintaining stock on the floor and always on the outlook for shop-Lifters. I loved working with my co workers good relationship with each other and always respected each other. I enjoy helping customers.most of all is seeing my customers are happy with big smiles on their faces as they leaving the store. Paper work is always being one of my biggest challenges..and dealing with very difficult customers.promotions and is always stress especially if we not having stock. But jah i love retail..its fun and I've learned to be responsible and always push myself beyond my limits.

Excellent learning curve

Working at Musica is basically a nice thing. Meet new people daily and loving the music industry. I work well with my co-workers mutual understanding all around. I have learnt to be humble and acknowledge every individual. What I like the most is the vibe.

Pros: Interacting with different genre and people.
Cons: Long hours of work, not getting weekends off

Excellent lessons learnt and experienced gained

Working at musica has taught mr a lot because when you work at musica, you have a range of responsibilities, besides helping customers, you're also a cashier, receiving and scanning out of stock and the relevant admin. I've also enjoyed my job because i interact with a lot of people and work with music, movies, series's, games and gadgets which i already have a passion in.

Pros: Fun environment and job security
Cons: Long working hours, work all holidays and not much room for promotions
