Hours can be long, but it is a great place to work.
I enjoy my time at my current job. It quick paces sales environment that is very competitive and offer a great team environment to work in. Although it is a not easy to make sales by any means there is a decent amount of sales support and training that we get ,some tools to better my as a sale person. The atmosphere is extremely open and collaborative with open workspaces and no offices, however, there are plenty of comfortable more isolated spots to hang out if you need to get away and concentrate on something. The food is great, people are happy and the office is situated in probably the most famous mall in Fairlands. I work long hours from 9 to 6.

Excellent learning Curve with challenges at a market, team and personal level.
My day at work involves spending time with suppliers, vendors to evaluate the performance of the products that we have built together, and then devising plans to perform better. I spend a lot of my time engaging current partners and future partners determining the product features and offerings to introduce to the markets ( 17 markets in the African continent). My working relationship with colleagues in the country and outside is that we work in an agile, collaborative manner to ensure that we remain on top of our game. I report monthly on performance, challenges, execution progress, highlights and low lights to Group Exco.

I left MTN cos the contract was becomes to an end
Typing was my daily task as to assist with the daily discrepancy,all the co-workers where all positively and encouragement towards anything that related to work,hard working always reward positively and doing or performing work with confidence without concern will put you on a map,thats what I have learned, facing the challenges and difficulties was the most thing that makes me to enjoy working because tomorrow will be the easiest things to me and challenging them with smile always makes them simple,

Ensure succession planning for expatriate employees and ensure skills transfer, ensure employee rotation to other 22 MTN operating companies to ensure employee engagement and career progression.

A great organisational culture and dynamic with a good training programme for employees.
Great Culture. Full of young and vibrant individuals. Learnt a lot through the rich training programmes they offer. Enjoy the dynamic culture and relationships that we have we other operations from other countries. It is though difficult and take long for one to get promoted and management do not recognize their best talent.

Great working environment
Fast paced; relaxed atmosphere; evolving structures and significant senior management support; typical work days are flexible and ever changing. Co-workers differ, but are mostly engaged. I’ve learned to engage with various stakeholders irrespective of their position. I enjoy the multinational engagements.

Career growth
I enjoy working for Mtn and the most exciting thing about working here is that you get to work with different cultures across Africa and the Middle East and I have learned so much about being confident in my work and the learning platform they offer. I have accumulated so many skills during my time here although sometimes it’s tough especially during this Covid time because we get to knock off really late but I have an amazing team I am great full for them.
