Experienced assistant manager

I am currently an assistant manager who loves what I do, I can work easily under pressure, my typical day at work is going in , doing the planning of the store by making sure all departments are covered to minimise theft and stock loss, I also make sure all tills have been allocated with a cashier . I also allocate lunchs and teas to the associates. My co-worker's understand what is expected of the company on a daily basis. If they are unsure about something I will coach them further. There are few things I enjoy about my job, putting a smile on the customers face and being the best store in the region.

Pros: Doing everything with the best of my ability
Cons: not having enough to visit home during the festive season

Lots of opportunities to grow

Very fast past environment,lots of pressure deadlines and targets to meet.very friendly staff and helpfull team leaders,very warm welcoming environment,must be hard working inorder to achieve targets.I have learnt how to speak to people professionally,educating customers onthe importance of paying account accordingly.We only work A 6 hour shift but alot of work it covered in such little time,highly appreciate management style very professional.Lots of over time which is optional and training sessions available depending on you weakness.

Hard working individual

I have been working at mr price group for 2 and a half years and has been a great experience they a a well established company that is well divest and is stable with a study employmen tequity

I have a very interesting job.

We deal with close to 1000 stores, doing i.t support for all stores dealing with all different types of individuals. I have patience with the team. I assist with the hardware and software of the stores. I am really close to my co-workers we share a bond as a team as we believe in team work. I have learnt many things through this company E.g: Microsoft SQL, mobile pos device, apple devices POS applications, restoring of databases. I enjoy the challenge, the pressure is like an adrenaline rush for me and I love being challenged. working with SLA's is challenging and also the will to learn in depth information with regards to I.T.

Pros: Great opportunity in the long run.
Cons: Very long working hours.

Fast learner

I been with Mr price for 9 years working as a store associated up until I got promoted to store manager all those years I enjoyed working with customers and staff member cause I'm a hard worker who always what things to be done in a correct way. What I enjoy most is being on the floor dealing making sure that our customers are always happy and most of all providing that extra security on our stock.

Pros: Work for your company won't be a lost cause I come with lot of hard work and I'm also willing to learn more everyday.
Cons: I'm willing to work more hours as long as the job is done correctly

Excellent

during the period i was working am.mr price, firstly i felt welcome to join the team. iwas introduced to work in various department but first i worked at stockroom. and promoted to be s cashier. and i was getting the opportunity to marchandise the store and being a member of management who is foing sales in the company and making sure we meet the required target and the company profit. the environment was in a good condition, working as a team and joyful.

Progress slow

Challenges is recognition for hard work and discrimination Team members and the client are the best to work with Decisions are made with no execution Problems ralated to people are too slow to be resolved Salary structure not adequately favouring employees
