Good learning experience
A typical work day consists of handling complaints, queries from members and attorneys regarding their matters and payment remittances. Assessment of submitted attorneys bill of costs for payment within the 30 day time period. These invoices are looked at in conjunction with the applicable court rules, should there be a query that requires clarification immediate contact with the relevant cost consultant at the firm is required in order to adhere to the 30 day payment time frame. In essence i have learnt so much about the legal field as well as learnt to tax attorneys invoices or request amendments to invoice etc. I most enjoy the payment aspect of the field I work in as it always subject to change and a new learning opportunity.I get along amiably with all of my co-workers and strive to get to know each person in the team on a personal level, thus making the work environment better to work in day to day.

I am currently loking for better prosects at a different industry.
I have been working in the industry for more than 10 years. I have assumed different roles for legal advisors to a manager. I believe that I possess skills and experience that closely match the requirements of the advertised post. I will definitely add value to any organisation that appoints me as an employee. My daily day consists of the following. 1. Morning meeting with admin staff. 2. Morning conference call with sales managers. 3. Feedback of previous day to Regional sales manager. 4. Recruitment planning. 5. New business planning. 6. Follow up call with sales managers about the daily productivity. 7.field visit to the sales agent. 8. Progress report to branch manager. 9. Quality control of new business.

Legalwise it's a good company to work for
It's an excellent company to work for as it will teach you how to handle the pressure and also in time for you to be able to reach your target on a monthly basis because as a sales manager your duties is to make sure that the company makes a good profit and also the sales agent earn a better salary at the end of the month by putting more effort on them, make sure that the business they write it's a quality one by monitoring it before submission
Pros: I always enjoy working with my team as they are more energetic and always come up with different ideas on how to improve
Cons: Time is always important because you will avoid working long hours remember this industry is all about time

Payroll administration
Doing payroll working independently, but also to relate to team members. Feeling happy and enjoy every day, working in a nice environment Every day is a learning curve, my life is to work on payroll it is my passion. My most challenging aspects of my work is when you have to start a company from the bottom and create the whole payroll to work and pay employees which I have done to set up our Namibia payroll and all their rules .

Excellent learning curve
I have excellent communication skills which I have honed due to seven years of experience at the current employment, typing of legal documents and communication with different policy holders. I have excellent negotiation and mediation skills I work well under pressure and I am very well organized. Taking the above into consideration I reiterate again that I believe am the right person for this job, I will expectantly await your reply and hope to get an opportunity to work for your department

Excellent learning curve for undergraduate
Legalwise is a good sector for undergraduate: to gain experience; in my current position I have learned to prepare court documents such as Motions; Divorce; Pre-trial documents; also to follow up on cases from Attorneys; update the member.

Keen industry exposure
Financial Manager at medium sized company, with public appearance. Worked in a team of 19 people mostly Afrikaans. Environment was very deadline driven with a need for accurate reporting and understanding. Fairly complex business with large reserves and actuarial input. This is a group structure with African exposure in SADQ and West Africa. I reported directly to CFO and senior Accountants reported indirectly to me. Managed the tax for the group as well. Overall family orientated business owned majority one owner and celebrating more that 20 years.

Through my experience, I have also become adept in overseeing a wide variety of operational responsibilities to ensure outstanding customer service and optimize financial performance across a variety of industries. I spent over 15 years with Multi-National companies such as SAP AG, Microsoft Corporation and indirectly with Apple and Google where I have learned the various ways of doing business from the conservative “German” way to the “American” style of “selling and then delivering”, which is in huge contrast from European business.
Pros: Not my ideal job, I am able to do more! I am a COO person and not a one track initiative
