Growth for personal well being

I am at an institute where the culture is out of the ordinary. I enjoy coming to work because of my colleagues and the culture, makes work a little easier. I am blessed to be in the space I am in, as I get to interact with various teams within the bank and helps to get an understanding of many aspects with regards to what I do and to how the bank works. Each day is a good day as it comes with its own challenges and being the person I am, I enjoy as you can always learn as there is a lesson in everything one does. The challenges that I face are more system related issues as in the market systems are not perfected.

Pros: Great space to gain knowledge within different spaces
Cons: AML space is constantly changing

History At Investec

Learned a lot about personal & private banking , assisted bankers with wealth & investments product as well as cash investment products. Worked in extended hours as such we did not have enough help thus we had to manage client expectations and needs. The fact that it was only extended hours consultants after business hours , we became very close with one another, as we assisted & taught each other about new queries and new technical knowledge.

Pros: Great Opportunity to learn banking technical knowledge
Cons: Working on weekends
