Flight Centre Reviews

Excellent learning curve

Flight centre was a good company to work for. What you put in you will get out. Being vigilant uptodate and constantly abreast of a situation was imperative. Sales is a major focus and the only way to succeed in the industry. Hours are long as a manager. But to reap success you need to put in the time.

Pros: everyday is not the same
Cons: long hours

All in one

• Worked for Flight Centre RSA as Travel Expert. Booking local and international travel. Booking flights, hotels, transfers and more. Searching for the perfect travel arrangements to suit the customers needs and exceed them. Designing the best travel using Amadeus, Omnis, e-customer, Compass, all supplier online booking tools, WhatsApp and email.

Pros: Learing so much at once
Cons: Attending many company events far from home at your own cost

Excellent learnings from the company, very good ethics

I typically do a lot of research in order to call my clients. I have a very strong relationship with my team and my team members. We work very closely in achieving our targets. I have learnt so much with regards to the travel industry, this is the first time I have gotten into travel. I love meeting new people and speaking to new people every day. The most challenging of my job is getting the appointment and getting to speak to the decision maker, but I am getting better every day.

Pros: Great opportunity to meet different people
Cons: they don't pay enough commission.

Excellent learning curve. Growth and development a huge driving factor.

Great learning curve. Growth is a huge driving factor in the company. Hands on management. Would welcome the opportunity to work there again. Hands on in giving back to those less fortunate. Involving staff in that. Training and education also valued

Pros: Great opportunity
Cons: None

Growth

I love the challenges the most. Hours and weekends don't bother me at all but my Sunday is the most important thing as I need to be at church. The most challenging aspect is getting that phone call at night and it's your customer or airline. Being to resolve issues

Pros: Growth. ability to determine your own pay cheque. educaional and on going training
Cons: change

Great company

A day in Dc , fun, pressured and comforting knowing that a team of strong individuals can come together in a time of work crisis and work together . FC is one of its Kind and lives by its values , one village one tribe one family. AS part of a finance we get together once a year for a conference building values for the next year, Family, respect, growth,Integrity and Security is what we hold close to heart. I enjoy most training novices that come into the company giving them finance knowledge of using our system.

Pros: not easy to move to another department
Cons: Salary structure
