First Assist Management Reviews

Jack of all trades

First Assist Management Is a very good stepping stone company, to help you get a decent start in the call center industry. A typical work day (or night in my case) would hardly be supervised as everyone knows what needs to be done, and is responsible enough to understand that the customer matters. Co-workers are very friendly and helpful, however senior management does not communicate with the rest of the call center. I did not find any of the work challenging and need a job that is closer to me, and something a bit less lazy. I need a new challenge and a fresh environment where I can learn more and possibly grow.

Pros: Mostly inbound, Great shift schedule
Cons: 12 hour days, Salary is a bit low for the work load.

Excellent Learning curve

Had a fantastic working environment with my colleagues even though we had our differences at times. Learnt a alot about the call center environment through this company as I was a school leaver then. Call center had high volume of calls end up taking 100+ calls in the day was very tiring and stressful. The most difficult situation about the job is working long hours and working on weekends and holidays

Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: Long hours

Excellent learning curve

I gained a lot of experience in this company when comes to working with clients, I've grown a lot since I joined the company. Besides that, they hire people who do not have experience and give then them management positions. Even though their salary is horrible, they employ you today, tomorrow you get fired. If the manager does not like you, then you are having a serious problem

Pros: .............
Cons: 06:00 to 18:00

Opportunity to prove my versatility

Ordinarily a pretty hectic environment, where time management is key While my current title is Creditors Clerk, now and then I get assigned a task in a totally different department (Verifications; Debtors; Procurement) in times of crises. Also got selected randomly to investigate and resolve complex insurance related queries by our CEO.

Pros: Excellent place to learn a lot for someone interested in Insurance
Cons: Due to relatively high staff turnover rate, the quality of work is more often negatively affected.

Hard working individual , quick learner and love to interact with client / customers

Dear Sir / Madam im young energetic woman who loves to learn new things everyday I've wanted to work at your company for years, so I was very excited to see your customer service job opening. I'm sure I can help at your company to increase customer retention. In my previous role at First Assist Management , I maintained customer retention at high customer survey results is another reason I think I'd make a great fit at your company. As an added bonus, my conversion rate for customer complains and managing refunds investigation are much better than the average I'm well aware o company’s ongoing journey into customer service excellence. This position is a perfect match for my love of helping people and solving problems. I would welcome the chance to discuss your customer service goals. I'd love to show you how my success at First Assist Management can translate to real customer service excellence at your company . Best regards, Lethabo Leopeng

New experience, learned quite a bit.

Even though the position was junior compared to my work experience, there was quite a lot to learn regarding vehicle accident/incident breakdown towing business. Had a chance to interact with different types of clients, working on tight deadlines, avoiding errors and resolving old queries.

Pros: Great scope for growth, a lot to learn, exciting environment.
Cons: Unfortunately the company had to cut down costs, thereby retrenching staff. This led to there being no more opportunity to take contractors on permanemtly.
