Great learning experience and it advanced my career

Ffs refiners is a petrochemical industry that works with different varieties of oils. It recycles and processes used oil from ships and vehicles. It helped me grow as person and as an employee. It helped to be able to work in a team and work under a lot of pressure.

Pros: Working with different fields related to chemistry

Well advancing in the field as lab chemist

The work is very groming in the field as chemist Tomuch work load at a day but manageable All analysis have to be accurate and precise To much risk as we take sample on top of the tank Which are about 10m to 12m high The smell of oil is sometimes not easy to adhere too Many procedures of analysis has to be done a day Few people to do the job yet the job is tomuch Tomuch responsibility yet it reallt exposes in all that is to be done and well developing in the field

Cons: No promotion at all

Yes

My job its very enjoyable job where there is no pressure small supervision . Even thou there is non of what I stated above but Im doing big pile of job more specific end of the month . On my job I multi task a lot doing plenty unrelated job but try to make it as related if you can look on my CV you can notice that My job doesnt require short temper at the same time doesnt require short temper

Pros: great chance of growing .but I have reached the sealing to it now

Excellent learning

I have gained so much experiance with one year i spent at FFS during my in-service training. And i have an experiance in operating effluent plant and also settling plant and blend plant

Learning curve

I’m a dedicated person who is always will to learn something new, I also work well with others but my strongest point is when I work alone. I completed my inservice training at ffs Refiners in Pietermaritzburg, after that I left the company become I found better prospects with a lot to offer in enriching my career. I am currently employed at Clariter za in East London Eastern cape.

Working shifts and benefits shift allowance. Inteact with my co workers and subordinates. Paying full attention to my leadership and whle of manaI enjoy my job except that PMB conditions are still strange for me though I have been in PMB for so long. I have also learned different aspects of maintenance in the company especially pus and gas compressors gem ent and and heat exchangers etc. Decision making is what I mostrecommendtoshowtrustin theteamas Ibelievein team work.
