Great learning curves for audit professionals.

N/Day to day responsibilities include planning of Financial Reporting Update events; involvement in tracking accreditation for managers who are required to be accredited in order to work on audit engagementz. Managing the suspense code. Some of the challenges experienced are that development/growth for all staff is not equal, some individuals are given more support than others.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth for audit professionals.
Cons: Inequalities; lack of transformation; potential for growth for non-audit professionals is difficult.

Excellent growth

EY is a great place to work at. We have an open plan arrangement where everyone is easily accessible. Applaudable flexibility in relation to flexible working arrangements. There is no compromise when it comes to compliance with ethical values, which makes executing the Risk Management role a lot easier. Experience at EY is what you make out of it.

Pros: Great growth opportunity
Cons: Minimum salary increase

Illindated with information

EY have National and international offices, namely EMEIA, MENA and AIM. I worked for the Advisory department who consisted of integrated staff from AIM side of EY. These resources were seconded by South Africa to assist with other National or International projects. My role was to assist our Advisory Director in GOS, Robotics, Business Transformation, Marketing and SMAAS Metering co-ordco- ordination in travel arrangements, visa applications, expense claims, accommodation etc as well as assist the individual Directors with their own day to day administration

Pros: Additional benefits
Cons: Long working hours
