Looking for an exciting job opportunity at a Senior Management level requiring more strategic input
I am an Occupational Therapist with experience in the Disability Claims industry. Currently, I am working as a Claims Case Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the assistive devices field as a seating therapist, been exposed in wellness. Have had extensive exposure in the health risk management and financial services industry for about a decade. Skilled in Healthcare, Disability Management, Incapacity and Absenteeism Management, Vocational Rehabilitation and facilitation of ICAS referrals for counseling and support. Furthermore, I have an evolving history and ongoing passion for shared leadership and adding value. I also have a vast interest in product development / enhancement projects within life insurance that is supported by appropriate rehabilitation programs to ensure successful return to work following disability. I was one of winners for the Discovery Life Exceptional Awards in 2017 and an active member of the Claims Steering Committee.
Pros: Value and impact on client experience and soft touch considering that we are dealing with vulnerable clients

Accurate, committed to customers
Making appointment to companies Make presentations to the clients Market Discovery life products I have learned rejection from clients, sometimes we met challenges where you can make appointments with clients when you call them they don't answer the calls Some times we fill application and complete it with the client when u ask for further details client cancel the whole process I have learned a lot with this position of financial advisor is win win loose loose situation My other challenge is when you work the whole day to sell that one product funeral policy when you explain to clients how it works they just ignore you and said we have many policies My relationship with my colleagues is team work share the challenges that we have faced at field
Pros: Opportunity to apply for head office position when you have a year within the company
Cons: Normal working hours depending on clients you have on that day

Excellent leaning curves
Is not an easy job. I have to look for people who are interested to our funeral plan. The challenge is that i have to think were to go to find clients. But what is nice about my job I have to go in defferent places to go and sell my product around Cape Town. The worst part is that i don't have my transport. I have to use public transport. Another thing is that I get paid through commission. So if I get few clients in that month and I have some lupses, some times I didn't get paid.

Good learning curve
It is a nice environment meeting new people everyday and feeling with different clients all the time is a good existence It is very good when coming to funeral policy premiums ,they are very affordable for everyone.

15 years of service great milestone
Salary expectation in order. Only down side is that you have to pay 100% on your medical aid premium Discovery doesn't contribute towards your medical aid
Pros: Excellent company to work for. You are being recognized for your hard work.
Cons: no contribution made towards your medical aid premium.

My current role is challenging and thought how to work under pressure.
In my current role. enjoy building relationships with my clients and it has thought a great deal on how to work with people. I have learned how to be a couple of steps ahead with regards to my work.
