Pros: No Pros, free lunch of you hit target... Which barely happens cause all leads are dead
Cons: Long working hours, no decent equipment, Dead, ice cold leads, No higher salry than R4K, no decent training, no team building, no professional management, boring.. not nice at all.

Excellent learning and training
We work in a freestyle environment. We get challenged daily to live the core Values of Discovery and TCF is embedded in our daily lives Teaching and learning gets done on a daily basis as we are challenged to learn something new everyday I’ve grown from a data capturer to a senior underwriter in a space of 10 years. There is definitely opportunity to grow @ Discovery

Great experience towards customer excellence
Coming from FNB ,working for Discovery Insure was a great experience ,their values strived towards innovating,growth,which made it easy for me to fit it.A typical work day would be high call volumes,dealing with complaints,getting compliments and processing claims,from registration to validation as well as finalization. Team spirit could be down at times therefore I participated in gees and team incentives to get the team going. Challenging aspect would be the remuneration structure .

RE5 and NQF wealth management
I have my RE5 and my NGF5 in wealth management which give me 129 credits ,willing to learn and go the extra mile to get my job done , I am a hard worker and self motivated

A very great organisation but needs to improve management sand also allow growth for individuals and study time for people who have been long in the insurance industry kills

Urgent Case to attend to!!!!
Urgent C A typical day at work begins with taking alerts off the system and making sure that our clients are travelling to their respective destinations safely. We also get calls in between for either accidents or roadside assistance due to a mechanical breakdown. My colleagues and I like to help each other out with our cases by dispatching for each other or closing off cases by confirming drop offs of vehicle I have learned to attend to things with urgency and be more compassionate towards others. I enjoy knowing that i have made a difference in someones day. The mos challenging aspect is dealing with the loss of lives

Great growth
Started as a junior auditor, company paid for my further studies; I then qualified as a building assessor with in a year and was promoted to senior assessor in the same year

I have learnt a lot from the company
My day day starts at 7 and I leave at 6. There's a lot of challenges within the company and management doesn't take them seriously. The relationship with co-workers is excellent as we get along, I have learnt from the company as I can grow with the experience.
