I'm a fast learner, energetic, enthusiasm and always eager to learn new things
I enjoy working with different people. Because I learn and discover new exciting things. It's such a big shop and very friendly environment even co-workers we get along very nice . The most challenging thing is that we stand long period of time. I enjoy working with makeup since I'm a big fan of makeup.

Stepping stone
Doing bookings with suppliers on delivery dates. Grv of invoices. Creating pods in order to balance invoice. Using ERP and EWM to create inbound. Closing of inbounds doing claims on short dated or damaged stock. Writing out credits, scanning and fax to head office. Transfer of chep pallets to Namibia and swartkop munt on the portfolio plus and my chep system. Motivating of staff. Email and calling suppliers. Updated reports via email to management. Having daily meetings on turn around times and efficient inbound processes.
Pros: Great management team to work with. Supportive in all decisions. Sharing of knowledge very important.
Cons: Not being able to earn a decent or liveable salary on the amount of responsibility that you as a supervisor must adhere to. Working for an agent with no bonus prospects.

Great retail company
The most challenging aspect of the business was running it as if it was your own. All planning of promotion ,staff appointment, disaplinary of staff customer service well one would have to work there to understand the high standards they maintain

Learning experience
Best place and enviroment,Top managment,good work ethics and culture great leadership and diplomacy. There is alway room for growth an expansion. People get along and have a good fellowship spirit..every body works towards the same goal

It nice working at dischem but the hours are too much and the salary is too little 😣and they don't treat us equally..expecial in the department I'm Working in we do jobs that we not supposed to do as cashier they overwork us

I am experience lot skills
Hi i am Clive I'm looking for a job .I am always available to start shifts and overtones . I have grade 12 , drivers license, merchandising, computer literacy and semi skilled boiler making . I am a hard worker who is very energetic . I can also weld and work as a domestic worker any job I'm ready for it.
Pros: No great opportunities for promotion. If they hired you as cleaner you will remain as a cleaner once you get permanent post.

It taught me a lot about myself and the industry
From my internship I learnt all about the retail side of things in this company. They gave me n opportunity as a locum when I had no experience and taught me all I know. I have been privileged to work with welcoming and patient people that are very supportive. I enjoy being trained on the products new and old by the sales rep from different companies. I also enjoy educating other people on these products and improving their lives. What is most challenging is the working weekends more than anything.
