My experience in Dion Wired

I am young, confident, flexible and vibrant at all times that's making me even more productive as I am work focused and multitask. I cope well under pressure. I am able to work as a team and also able to work independently. In Dion Wired I operate the switchboard, capture and follow-up on customer's deliveries, capture the stock counts, make price signages and merchandise on the system. I do paperwork and filing as well. It's a great challenge to work in my department as you have to be fully focused. I enjoy my work because it's now easier as I am used to it and it keeps me busy.

Pros: There is a greater opportunity for a promotion as the company is growing and build more brunches
Cons: We work long hours at a lower rat and we work on weekends

Gain more experiance from the cashier post to management.

I gain experience in my previous employment from the cashier to management, I dont mind to work underpressure,i love challenges, iam a hard worker,reliable,honest person,i have respect for my fellow people,i always fulfill my duties with the best of my ability,I dont mind to work alone as well as in team.im very dedicated person..

Pros: opportunity for promotion..
Cons: retail hours,including public holiday and weekends.

Great hours

Business can be quit but also very busy some days The most challenging aspect of my job is dealing with rude customers or customers that waste our time.

Cons: Bad salary, bad working hours on saturday and sunday

Sales, marketing and customer service experience

I have learned a lot when it comes to sales and customer service. I have learned to tackle problems individually, if I struggle support has always been there from higher management and other employees. I've learned the importance of having product knowledge, it always makes it easy to make people understand if you know what you are talking about.

Pros: Great job opportunity to gain experience in sales.
Cons: Mon - Sun, only one off day a week hardly get any family time. I prefer being free on weekends.

Good curve

Lot of challenges, like recieving goods, despatching, GRV's, capturing goods on to the system, filing, and looking after distribution department as the whole. Relationship with my co-workers is good we work as a team, as well with other departments we have a good relationship. What I learn is to be patient and keep on doing what is expected of you.

Pros: distribution manager
Cons: 45hrs per week

Excellent learning curve

perfect place to work at and team work is essential. willing to grow and they are giving me a piece of training. to learn about the systems and challenges but its way too far from home team work is essential and willing to help each other out
