I have to be complete committed my work and to provide a good relationship with customers.

Meeting company target is the most important thing including meeting customer requirements like on time deliveries, being loyal to customers by satisfying their needs and update them with any changes or delays. To delegate and team working helps with completing tasks and to rectify common mistakes which can be costly to a company. I have learned to be committed to my everyday job and to seek knowledge as much as I can because knowledge is the power. I also learn to be honest and loyal to my company. I enjoyed working for Denel because we not limited to furthering our studies and developing smiles. I had given opportunity to work in various department to groom myself and to multiskilled and multitask. The most challenging aspectsof my job is to compliant and to make that work is done properly with costly mistakes that can cause the company to restructure.

Willing to learn and hArd worker

Excellent learning experience

Excellent learning experience from the company. It has exposed ones business understanding to a large extend. During this period in the company I've had the opportunity to report directly to executive, since I was responsible for industrial engineering, Production and material management in the warehouse (as well as material on assembly lines) It has been good exposure for my growth in my career.

Open to new possibilities

I am currently acting as the material planner due to the covid lockdown. Inventory control and stock levels are kept within standards and I raise purchase req's when new stock is required. I run MRP and ERP daily . I report directly to the Operations executive and have 3 store under my management including the International and local product support stores as well as the production store.

Dedicated, ambitious, and always keen to learn

.For these 4 year with Denel, I worked with people in different levels, from managers to shop floor employees. I would also go out to suppliers for quality checks and training them on jobs then write out a detailed report. I enjoy working with everyone and never had a job related problem that we couldn't resolve. Though is has been challenging when it comes to rejecting some of the items as you have to sometimes explain the technicalities to someone who sometimes had a very knowledge on that job but I learnt to be patient as we always learn as people in life. All round manufacturing experience

Process control. Laboratory testing. Machines checking to ensure it's in good condition. Relationship with co workers is healthy. They listen and do the job I have learned metallurgical and Quality management Systems. I have also learned process control, safety and time management. To work under pressure and get to the bottom of things. To ensure Quality of the end product is achieved at all times. I enjoy making sure that the system is working perfectly. WNS, EMS, OHSAS andRisk management. To ensure documentation is available and it is a safe working environment. Not getting the correct measurements when all that has been done is correct. Materials dimension morphology can be interesting sometimes.

Great exposure

It's a great company in the military space, excellent engineering expertise with highly technologically environmentally ,well articulated policies and procedures. Great culture and good working environment

Great growth potential

I loved the daily challenges and mostly the family environment. From when I started in the company, I'd say I've grown ten times in the learning milestones I was pursuing.

Excellent learning curve

Great colleagues. Parastatal, thus there are regulations to consider when supplier selection takes place. This was a new area of learning for me. There are no automated systems really, need to find start ways of achieving results quickly. Strong excel is required
