Making a Difference

My specific role is extremely strenuous however very satisfying. With some big names in their respective fields our customer strive for excellence, quality and dedication. My team have pushed through this year with some enormous challenges which would bring most to tears, however with the constant support of their colleagues and leaders they managed to ensure the customers Aged Incidents dropped from 20000 in January to less than 1000 in December. Our processes changed about 3 times in one year, learning new processes, new systems and still expected to maintain SLA the guys stayed after work to complete assignments, learn the systems and assist one another in finishing as a team My company has taught me what great team work can achieve, how the voice of your people can make the difference between maintaining and losing business. I love my team and my company and if they were able to match my salary expectation I would never consider leaving.

Excellent growth and experience gained.

Request Management - Updating of documentation - Incident Management - Ensuring Service excellence. - developing team and promotional campaigns to boost sales or improve customer experience. - Negotiations and building customer relationships regarding clients - Liaison with UK clients regarding requests logged. - Assist UK clients with any problems they experience. - Grant clients access to various programs and software etc.

Good learning

We have rotational shifts of which we work the night shift as well. I have a good relationship with my co-workers I have learnt of things, how to resolve critical issues and escalations and how to deal with unhappy customers. Therefore I can be able to work under pressure

Working at Computacenter

The company plays a huge role in providing employment in Cape Town. They occupy 2 buildings in the northern suburbs for their employees. My typical day would include arriving at work 30 before time and open the necessary applications making sure everything is up and running with now issues. I would then have porridge and coffee with the company provides everyday while checking emails We have team leaders who regularly communicate face to face and via emails. Discussing stats and what we can do to improve good The environment is fast paced, I use the sticky notes app on pc to make sure I dont loose track of what needs to be done during the day. I enjoy what I do at Computacenter. At the moment I do work shifts, core shifts, graveyard shifts and weekends are 12 hour shifts. I am looking for 8-5 Monday to Friday position in the IT Industry. I hope this gives you insight of what it is like to work at Computacenter.

Excellent

The company I worked for was one of the great companies I have ever worked for, I have learned so much in regards to IT and customer services. The people are great and I am proud to call them my family

Nice company to work for

Nice company to work for, Not alot of growth opportunities in Availability Management. I feel like it is not a market related salary I am getting for the work i do and the experience i have
