I got to build relationships that could possible increase my knowledge in the future.

Manager hogs projects to much to an extent that work slack to a high degree, leading to funders presuming were not doing work & also that we do not need the capital. The internal squirrels lead to less work being done & learning experience decreases as as a new person you are forced to choose side instead of learn from all sides. The director is reluctant to bring in experienced individuals & also keep the experienced ones, he also under pays certain individuals.

Pros: Great opportunity to build relationships with other construction fields
Cons: No opportunity of promotion, long working ours.

Excellent learning experience

Typical work day would be having meeting and talk about the duties needs to be done or any new ideas that can be implemented. Co-workers were helpful and supportive. Learnt to work under pressure, be helpful and keep myself always well informed as I’m working with students. Enjoy helping students build there confidence. Challenging aspect of my work, had to hand in mark papers in time and there will be short period of time to hand in but with that taught you time management skills.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: Long working hours

A relaunch

I am in a very supportive and exciting work environment. The team is small but it is quite collaborative. And there is opportunity to further my studies. This job came after I had been jobless for a little over a month and I continue to learn and be exposed to innovative technology.

Pros: Great environment for further training and development.
Cons: low growth opportunity for me within the organisation. small structure.
