Its a good company to work for
I am working as in store marketing coordinator.its a very energetic work and I love doing what I'm doing.I'm dedicated and willing to extra mile with my experience. I really feel its time for me to go the next level and I don't have a problem working on weekend or public holiday.I've learn a lot about marketing. You have to be people's person and be friendly especially to the customers.
Pros: Its a good company but thy don't promote people to the next level according to how u perform you just have to apply yourself to go elsewhere. What I want is to grow within the company but if the is no opportunity I don't see why should I stay for more than 5 years.
Cons: 40 hrs

Excellent learning
To work in this company is not a challenge, Co-workers are friendly..Since I like learning, I use to visit other departments in order to learn different jobs, as a result when one of these departments is short of staff, I fill in that vacancy for that day.
Pros: Great opportunity for customer servicing
Cons: Working overtime when needed

Working hard but earning less
Talking of a very busy shop and I feel management are only thinking for themselves being pushed to meet target while there s a shortage of staff and the long hours without over time 45hours per week it's too much we working well with our fellow workers but we get tired from time to time I've learned to push until you reach the target some of the challenges been having hard working working under a full pressure it's quiet hard the part where you be insulted by customers and staff your feelings
Pros: there are no such opportunities in fact you work and master the job and if there's a post they want to hire people from outside massmart to be thought by us how to do the job even on post they not publishing them you just have to work work work work and work without promotion
Cons: the hours are so long 45 hours per week

Excellent learning curve
Administration of the bakery is done by me on a daily basis. And ordering and receiving of ingredients ; conducting stock take on a weekly basis. I have learnt a lot with regards to being in management especially leadership skills. I enjoy mostly the administration part of things in the bakery. Most challenging aspect of the job is the staff management.

Excellent learning curve
we work as a team towards achieving our goal, we have many customers and the demand of stock is always high. so each and every day we try to remain on our objectives. patience is key but work must be done that is what expected from us as employee to keep the performance on high level. We work long hours. What I love most is when its a pay day but we motivate one another and we strive to make it each and everyday.
Pros: I am a Team leader I understand the roles of a team leader

Great platform to jumpstart my career regarding my line of study
long hours despite it being shift work. doesn't get boring cause each day there's something new to learn. being that I'm in a management position at store level. there is alot of responsibility on a day to day but with the right team and efficient and easy to work with staff it can be manageable. Stock takes are the worst cause you have to answer to a lot of people at store level and head office level.

Promotions, career growth
The company I currently work for is a well known FMCG group company with only a mere error of not paying according market related salaries. Day to day shift, I find myself in good terms with colleagues, close in a manner in which I consider them as my second home around them. Work load is not an issue as we face different challenges everyday, we communicate with colleagues and show an individual an easy way of doing things. team work. Reconcile accounts and solving queries with supplier is what I enjoy most as I am a multi-lingual person of great interpersonal skills. I really enjoy doing that. challenges regarding the work is paper work from store, thus an individual has to double check the legal entity and capture difference on each an every invoice.
Pros: great opportunity on promotion, but limited
Cons: 8 hours per day 5 times a week

Good experiance
M ready immediately.retail expergance and knowledge is what i have, am actually looking for new challenges that wil increase my knowledge,during my study of my national diploma i have managed to gain knowledge and skills such as numeric skill communication skills, conflict management, and conceptual skills

Company
It is a very good company to work, the colleagues are friendly and management is so welcoming. In creditors it is good for people are fresh from school due to the salary package.
