Great with direct client relations

January 2011 I moved over to IT and started with Bytes connect, Bytes Technology Group. Started as a Helpdesk Engineer and got promoted to a Desktop Engineer. I worked on site at G4S Head Office in Hatfield until August 2012 supporting over 2000 users. From there moved to different sites in IT Support

Excellent working chance

Good learning curve, excellent working chance but long hours and sometimes no weekend off and the company does not close during easter and festive holidays

Excellent learning curve

I work 8 hours a day and I am in good relationship with my colleagues as we enjoy working together. I have learn the skill of working as as team,interpersonal skills, decision making skills and analytical an problem solving skill. I have learn how to patch points,network connections,points fixing, and the installation of IP phones. I enjoy all the work I do as part of experience and learning curve.

Pros: Hard working will determine my abilities for oppotunities
Cons: I do not have problem in working over time

Technical support

working at G4S is a very good experience . There is a lot of duties to do. Like logging calls for technicians to go and fix the device . I also assist clients with they payments if they did not get paid out. I learned how to deal with angry clients and how to not loose my temper during this process . i also learned how to work with different types of colleagues with different types of emotions and opinions.

Pros: the company has a lot of career opportunities for up cumming learners
Cons: the company has a lot of different shifts which are 6am-3pm/ 10am-7pm/8am-5pm/1pm-10pm.

Experienced

I understood what working under pressure is and the most precious lesson was to learn currently what it takes to work for an organisation that is always a leader in its field

Excellent learning curve

The environment of the company is great because you get to have an interaction with the Top leadership of the company .There is a pool table to unwind with regards to easing off after a long day of hard work .

Being exposed to the IT field for the first time was a wonderful learning experiance

There's alot of pressure which I feel is good to learn and there's always assistance if you dont understand anything, so that you can perform to your best

Good foundation

- A typical work day Management and Maintenance of the Applications and ensuring low or no system outages. - Your relationship with co-workers I have a good working relationship with my colleagues and I believe that we have developed a strong foundation where we can assist each other beyond responsibilities to achieve the objectives of the day. - What you have learnt I have learned to humble myself especially when dealing with clients, kindness goes a long way. - What you enjoy most Investigating a customer or system related issues and being able to determine the root cause as well as propose possible solutions for the issues - The most challenging aspects of the job Working rotational shifts.
