I work with the Management Team in Technical, HSE & Quality Management.
I am currently employed as Minerals Division Southern Africa QHSE Manager & Technical Manager for BV Inspectorate Laboratories (a member of BV group) responsible for developing, maintaining management systems, accreditations and continuously improving business processes and customer satisfaction and also responsible for the implementation of effective HSE & Quality Management systems and process to reduce work related accidents and illnesses of employees, visitors and contractors as well as reducing our footprint on the environment. I work with the Management Team to assist them to improve their operations, activities and performance related to Technical, HSE & Quality Management. I perform the job in the framework of the HSE & Quality Management Systems, the Code of Ethics and the appropriate Group policies.

Excellent Working Environment
Long hours but a good working space to learn new things. Great colleagues and great management. Working with Stubborn users can be frustrating but I try my level best to assist in anyway I can.

Exceptional exposure and learning environment
I am a simple and complicated person, willing to learn and love a challenge end enjoy being in an ever changing environment. I believe that being able to learn and grow is most important for any individual, and I strongly believe that I am here for a greater purpose and engineering is just a tip of the iceberg to what I am capable off. I put and love my family over everything.

Excellent company to work for
I have a very good relationship with the employees of the company and everyone is willing to assist you where they can, the Company it self has more perks than the company I previously worked for, the only reason why I have decided to move is because the company lost a big contract with Glencore and there is not any other positions for me in the company

Challenges in a workplace
I mostly enjoy working with different people from different cultures and nations. Adjusting to the new environment is what I've learnt the most. The challenges that I've faced are working in an environment where there are people of a different race, but when time went by, I enjoyed. Learning new things was a threat. But those things became my strength.

No room for growth
Employees not recognised or appreciated, no room for growth,no bonuses. No salary increases unless you are the boss's favourite. They make promises which they do not deliver on.
