Excellent learning curve

My daily work was to send sample to the shaft and put the done sample into the Lab. Every morning i weigh the samples from the shaft , then record the result to RMS. That was challenging, you have be focus and accurate Team work was the best. I learned who to manage my work load without supervision n to have solution regarding complain or queries from the shaft.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion

Working in a deep mine with a lot of challenges has moulded my experience

Have worked at a training where I was training and assessing all mining employees against our standard and making sure that they do the right work at all times

Perfect learning challenge

Nothing much to say about typical day to my work because I always play my cards right accuracy is what I put on my mind. I have a good relationship with my co- workers we have a team relationship that is a common gaol. I have learned lot and lots of how to interact with another department that take the company to a good standing in business. The most thing I enjoyed is to help client and to learn new things. Most challenging is when we were told to adapt new ways of doing our duties.

Excellent learning curve and career growwth

Working for cost accounting department, where i am involved in cost management with defferent plants units in south african region being involved with senior manager, senior accountants and accountants. From budget creation up until expenditure and budget outlook. And also work with plant managers, plant engineeres and etc getting first hand expirience on companies financial management.

Pros: Great opportunity for getting first hand exposure of corparate world
Cons: Long working hours which includes, having no lunch break, meeting dead lines with no overtime payment

One has to stay on one position for way too long as the promotions are not oven.

I work from Monday to Friday, 9hours per day. I have a team of 22 which we do get along to achieve our planned job per day. we get to go on training and team buildings to uplift our work.

Pros: studying makes it even better to have more chance of oppotunities
Cons: the hours are not so flexable as it is a must to start at 7

Good Experience

Its very interesting and challenging as everyday you get new challenges. The company policy and culture diversity coaching has laid good foundation for workers to have the atmosphere of tolerance and good relations . Its enjoying to work with this co-workers. I have learned to trust subordinates with the job. i enjoy assisting people to reach their career dream even if its difficult for them to continue, i encourage them to focus to their goal. The interruption / intervention training if it must be done with immediate effect, and when there is an accident and training documents must be produced immediately.

Excellent learning curve

The company is big and best when it comes to training Even if they don't guarantee hiring permanent after the end if the programme. I am getting exposure in different department which is the best thing about this training, I also present to management now and then just to sell my self. The salary is very little,I can't afford a car and other things

Endurance Learning Skill

Working in a mining industry as a general worker is strainers because of long working hours most times,sometimes being in a long quarrel with team leaders and also those above us all.Such work puts life in danger each and every day.What it taught me is,to work under pressure even though the time is limited to produce production.I've enjoyed working there because of meeting multitude of people learning about variety of cultures.The most challenging aspect of the job is the underground heat a person has to go throw everyday.
