Excellent experience

I was employed to start up the procurement department. I had to put all necessary procurement procedures in place and insure that the company and employees follow the procedures. I had to insure all the account are opened. I love my job and staff and Amrod really takes care of me. The only reason I am seeking another position is to get closer to home. It will have to take a lot for me to leave Amrod as I enjoy reporting to my boss he is really an excellent boss. The senior staff in die company is really supportive. It is great to work in a company where you ate part of a team.

Brilliant company to work for

I brought efficiency and speed to issuing stock on time according to schedule ,the level of reporting in terms of shortages.reduced order backlogs by 35% within 2 weeks

Pros: Always given time to learn new things
Cons: Working 12 hours is not every more especially at night

Job not career

Amrod is a good place to work if you're just looking for a job and not a career. There is room for growth but only up to so far. They are very stingy with salary and annual increase makes no difference whatsoever. It's also a very unforgiving environment. Employees are constantly being fired over the littlest things. I did learn a lot though in my time there, so it's not all bad. They offer a lot of training to employees which is a good thing.

Excellent team to work with .highly pressured environment.

I only did night shifts.I had good working relationship with my co workers. I love the intensity of my work without me the production team can't reach their objectives. Most challenging is when I have to inside the printing to help with packing jobs.

Cons: Night shifts are boring

It was a good experience

When I report in duty we had a meeting before we start working to plan how are we gonna achieve our production for a day. We also had fantastic management they encourage us to be in our toes. Some times we were working as a collective or team and individually, I've learned to work as a team and be a hard worker, enjoyed working extra hours, challenge was a workload it's a busy company

Pros: We had incentives every month
Cons: Too much work load
