Organisations I have worked for include Nedbank, Imperial Bank, PwC, Santam and the Clicks Group. In recent times I also founded and ran my own consultancy business called Uyaaku Holdings. My passion is to deliver and drive true Business Intelligence which is the driver of strategy. It is a personal responsibility to transform organisations into Organisations that not operate only today but are best equipped to operate in the future. That is why I am a passionate student and practitioner of Futures Research which includes Environmental Scanning, Cross Impact Analysis, Scenarios Planning, Visioning, Strategy and Plan Actioning. I believe that in this day and age data is the best tool for planning for the future. An eye opening experience
The IT industry is expanding on a daily basis. Information technology is one of the fast growing industry in the world, it has been a great learning experience. People think IT is about computers and programs, but it is more about people than anything else. Technology is about improving peoples lives and that's working for this company has done. Opened my eyes to possibilities.

A supportive working environment
A good company to work for as it is expanding and more opportunities are surfacing. Employees are good mentors to juniors. If you seek to grow as an individual you have to communicate and show interest in the business need by getting into training and projects.
Pros: Diverse and young. In-house training and guidance provided ahead of projects.
Cons: Business need is always changing but training is provided in order to assist staff to adapt.

Excellent learning platform
Working at Adapt It has helped me grow in the Accounting field and broaden my knowledge with more in-depth understanding of Project accounting. Our accounting is done on project level which although proved quite challenging at first I have learned to develop innovative ways to handle the tasks and accurately record transactions and maintain journals.

There a lot of improvement that need to be done on the Division. I Don have much to say about thd cocompany since I was still knew and I was working outside the premiseses at clients.

Great learning opportunity
Adapt IT has been a great company to work for, as it has me grow both professionally and socially. The colleagues and the work environment is a great space for one to expand and grow quickly. The teams are very helpful and understanding. At adapt IT i have learnt to script with both Ms SQL and MySQL I got exposed to linux opensuse commands learnt to use powershell and Php. The most challenging thing is the clients environment i got exposed to as different clients have different specifications of what they want in an application.
