Fraud investigator

I started working at Absa in 2012 as an ATM Claims Agent. Shortly afterwards, I started working as Fraud Analyst in Internet Banking Fraud and have been in the department to do. As part of my role, I engage with management, team members where we share best practise ideas, and with customers giving feedback on cases of fraud and explaining the process in detail, as I believe that customer relations form the basis of any business. In my line of work, professionalism is key and I display a high level of integrity in everything I do. My role has exposed me to different facets of the business and I have gained emotional maturity that is required to empathise with clients without compromising on professionalism. I enjoy engaging with customers and providing them with the best service at all times.

Pros: I guess we all want growth but for me its more of perfecting my current role then move within so i will know and perfect when and if the importunity what i will be doing.
Cons: when you love what you doing and want to give the best service extra hours will never be a problem.

Very good learning experience

Its a good company to work for and your growth is dependent on your hardwork with good working hours and good incentives when you work hard.challenges are there but they help you master your job and they give you the experience on how to solve problems .

I have previously worked for FNB from 2008 to 2015

I have previously worked for FNB from 2008 to 2015 starting as a Teller, Collections official, Multi skilled consultant then Sales and service consultant until i was appointed at ABSA middle office in January 2016 up to date as a cConformance consultant

Pros: It made me to grow and gain much experience in a Financial industry
Cons: being able to work under pressure and meeting your target

Good

Good relationship with my colleagues. we have fun in our working environmental Being such a person I am always willing to go an extra mile, without prejudice with regarding to my seniors. With my personality ,endurance, loyalty and respect towards others, I feel that being in this position i can render a much a better employee to the company.

Excellent Experience

I enjoyed working for absa, on a day to day, the skills required where challenging. Communicating with external customers was truly a challenge. I am a team player worked well with my co-workers.

Banking experience especially for compliance

I am working normal day hours which is eight and overtime if requested to work so. our working relationship is very nice because we were working as a team, we were assisting each other as a team. I gained more experience in Kyc, remediation and got a light on what exactly money laundering means, what are the peps and the legal documents which are needed to be uploaded on bank's systems. I have also gained an experience on Research. I enjoyed much of client data capturing and reviewing their documents. The most challenge is when we requests documents from the clients and they delayed to reach us.

Pros: Working smarter brings a quality job
Cons: Working under pressure disturbs good quality, so is much better to finish job in time to avoid pressure

Good communication skills

I really like to work for ABSA as it is a great company with great opportunities, I have a very good relationship with my colleagues, I learned a lot from ABSA, I have learned to work on my own and sometimes with help from my colleagues, and I enjoy calling other departments , logging a call for something that is faulty, and the most challenging aspects of the job is when someone doesn't do their job and expect me to do it for him/her.
