Providing ICT support to presidency employees, working as a team is way to succeed, I've learnt to be patient with people because we work with different people on a daily basis

Risk tolerance and Management
The intentionality of Public Sector Management when it functions as it should is for the benefit of all citizens. However, in some instances, the actuality of public Sector management delivers unintended results. This is particularly because Risk taking is virtually unthinkable within the public sector. Management in the public sector is not encouraged and is totally risk aversive to any degree of risk-taking. As a result, you will find that entrepreneurship and innovation are lacking within the management cadre. This inevitably translates into riding the tried and tested decision making way, little chance of adopting or implementing either processes, systems, and technology that may move the organization forward at a more rapid pace and with greater efficiency. This kind of management can sometimes have consequences that adversely affect the public and the impact of public good and definitely minimize the impact of strategy and service delivery.

I have learned that I'm capable of doing anything as long as I put effort
My job includes interacting with my colleagues,the communication is the key,it also includes serving principles,Promote the image of our office,Providing hospitality service to our clients.

I got an opportunity to serve the Principals
My everyday job includes preparing for meetings,ordering food from the suppliers,do quotations,preparing documentation to obtain petty cash from finance,providing Hospitality to clients.
Pros: Working in the highest office
Cons: Not being able to maintain myself and family because of low income

Building competency and expertise
i have been working in an enviroment that is well rounded up with team work and well communicated goals. in a day i perform administrative duties such as compiling databases and performing any other assigned duties. i work with analysing the socio economic impact assessment systems where i have learnt on conducting cost benefit analysis, strategis and monitoring and evaluation. i enjoy the fact that i engage with people from all works of life and get to learn new things all the time from the inputs and dynamics of the enviroment.

Team player and a go getter.
A typical work day would be responding to telephone and email inquiries. I have good working relations with colleagues and always eager to learn from others. I mostly enjoy acting as chairperson of disciplinary hearing and also in prosecuting in misconduct hearings. Most challenging aspects of my job is taking unlawful instructions from principals. I am go getter and always on time with my assignments. Another challenging aspect of my job is ensuring that managers understand processes so that the department is not compromised of face legal action from employees. I am also responsible for Employment Equity and my role is to ensure that the designated employees get a fair chance to be recruited and advanced through measure that are transparent and legitimate.

Excellent learning curve
Doing teaching practical is an amazing feeling, knowing that the future of our learners are in the hands of teachers. We change their life's positively. Engaging with learners on daily basis inspires me, it motivate me to share my knowledge with the people who holds the future of this country. I must my self and any other teachers we do this work for passion rather than anything else.

Interpersonal skills enhanced
In a typical day, one manages the diary; all incoming and outgoing correspondence for the unit. Emails are essential as communication is mostly done through emails. The job has interesting days when there are prominent figures that come to work. The top 5 Idols contestant for example were at work.
Pros: One gets to meet prominent figures
Cons: There are not a lot of promotion opportunities

It was an excellent working enviroment,I liked the working style, and the structure of position.It was a place I looked forward to in the morning.they always make sure they empower the employee in what ever way possible

Internship
i enjoy every second for being here, but i need to explore and learn something new from different companies. i love working with people especial those who love sharing experience with other people. what i have learn from my job is to capture a payment on Basic Accounting Sysytem (BAS),capture claims on Persal,determining irregularities and fruitless expenditure,compiling of payment and claims,filling of batches and retrieving
