Excellent place to work

Great environment to work in but the company has no benefits to offer,no double pay for public holidays and Sundays.We also don’t have shift allowance due to long trading hours.

Stepping stone

Had a great time there but the no benifits part kills the employees efforts. The staff is amazing and the management is not bad as well its all about money there everybody has ro be on time for dutie so that the day can run smoothly

Excellent experience in different areas

It's a good overall company to start off with if you want to learn something new. It's a great learning curve for those who have just come out of matric and want to start a career and grow up to one day start something of their own or also grow in the business by getting promotions etc.

Regret working here

Culture is touted at every opportunity but sorely lacking. I would strongly not recommend as an employer. Screaming, shouting and swearing is the norm. Some employees are treated better than others regardless of their performance. This is an extremely stressful environment to work in. People are treated horribly.

Fashion Buyer

A normal day would be stressful as usual. I don't always get to do my job but get to do others which leaves me to work overtime. We do not get paid overtime or get time off. We are expected to leave after 20.00pm every weekday and on Saturdays leave at 15.00pm We work public holidays and we don't get paid for it. There is always pressure and most of the time its undue pressure. We get sworn at almost all the time.

Very challenging learning curve

Very very difficult conditions in that my +27622812427 team is not performing, which +27622812427 I must micromanage them while managing the staff as well

Broadening my skills set and getting ready for the real world.

Hi have just started and everyone has welcomed me with warmth .the staff is friendly and they remember names that's a plus on my books and if you don't understand something they will help you with a smile and not make you feel small

Good place to be

It helped me alot to work at the shops now i know customer service n know that customer is always right and how to treat customers in the good way i need to learn more it will be my pleasure if you can hire me Thanks a lot

Excellent learning experience

It was a great learning and excellent experience, I went to to work everyday knowing that I see very friendly faces. My colleagues were friendly they were always smiling ready to start the day, we have a good relationship with each other always assisting one another. Being there with them was a joy for me. I learn that working together as group and focus on the job you are hired for can uplifting the company. The most challenging aspect of the job was to reach the target of the day, everyday as the days are not the same, but we were able to make it happen.

Maximising sales in the tough times

Growth is nul and void. Been female in a company based on religion where males are allowed growth. I love my job but what do i benefit without growth. I have goals and aspirations. I have learnt to fight for sales in my current store. Managing people is my strenght. I know how to deal with employees who are not performing
