Great to interact with amazing minds

As a researcher, my schedule varies widely every day. I spend most of my time in session in the lab. Sometimes tutoring students in sessions, but I also run group sessions. I also spend a few hours of each day training, observing, and providing feedback for my students. So, about half of my time is spent working directly with my work, and a quarter of my time is spent working with students.

Pros: Great academic life
Cons: Arduous work

Excellent learning experience

I wasn't working at wits, I was only a student. I studied my Bsc degree in geography and geology from 2013-2015. After that I decided to do my geology degree which was a one year of time. Now I'm a graduate looking for opportunities and I am definite to say that I'm a hard worker, I learn fast hence I'm interested in going into different fields.

Pros: I got a lot of experience through lab work, field mapping work, mine visits and national core log sites. at wits they give you ideas of how to expect in workplace. hence I'm saying it was very good
Cons: there definitely can't be cons for studying at this insituation

It is a mining company in which I manage the generation of electricity using steam. It is a very challenging environment where I have to cope with different cultural backgrounds which is very interesting.
