Excellent Learning curve

Great learning opportunities however not everyone is entitled to it, company is good to work in good and friendly environment start time and end time are great as you beat the traffic

Great experience

Typical 8 hour job. Teaching grade 4 learners. Had to compile progress reports, parent meetings and class room management. Required to work with staff members. One on one meetings with HOD and Principal. Meeting deadlines etc.

Pros: Great skills aquired
Cons: Large class numbers

it is a good working environment with its own challenges like any other work place and the co-workers are absolutely wonderful with their different characters and personalities

I am an administrator who focuses on develoment holistically.

I believe that each day comes up with new opportunities for one to improve and blossom. Working in an educational institution challenges me every day, especially in an institution with learners with many barriers, thus demands someone with experience and dedication. That has motivated me to do research, as I am preparing myself to empower my learners. More than teaching the subject matter I desire to help my learners to increase in self discovery. I believe that each of us has a unique personal experience that can enhance other people's lives. Travelling around the province has taught me that there is a lot to be done still to improve the quality of education in many areas of our province.

Teachers Assistant

I work at Phandulwazi High School in Lower Crossroads.. the work I do involves typing class lists, disposal forms and issuing and recovery forma. I assist the deputy principal with ad hoc administration work , such as revising and creating documents. I work with educators so there is a lot that I have learnt , such as breaks and lunches are useful times to complete admin work that will enable your day at work to be productive. .

Pros: Good learning environment
Cons: Tiring work at times

Presently I am teaching Mathematics and Physical Science at High School.

Presently I am teaching Mathematics and Physical Science at High School. When I started teaching ,I was tasked as part of my school work at my Honours study. Then I enjoyed helping students with Mathematics problems, including helping them to use a computer solving more complex problems. I was trained as a Data Analyst using SAS programming ,SPSS and Database (SQL) at University of The Western Cape. I enjoyed Data Analyses which was what I intended to do when I was still at high school. I would like to point out that I really enjoyed teaching matric learners, and working as a team with other teachers was more exiting. Yours Faithfully M Mokgalaka
