Revival of my phisical technical abilities

The job is phisical and there is quite pressure from time to time as I'm involved with the production line and placed at the main stream equipments and that in itself encourages a lot of communication with all different levels in the organization

Great preparation for the next career move

Solid company with great range of products Company culture not the best with a very high staff turn over One of the leading companies in its class Constantly changing ways and with such a high staff turn over, it becomes very difficult to create good team spirit and generate momentum when thinking of chains/steps to follow to complete certain tasks

Want to expand my knowledge

Always busy never standing. Spares is a problem at times but we make a plan I work environment is great I just want to make a move in something else. Have a great work relationship with the other employees enjoy the employees reporting to me.

Long hours

i dont understand why this is necesssary, honestly it seems like an invasive process and also the white screen on white background makes typing a nightmare thanks

Good in reading drawings

Resigned due to unhappiness. It's a good company I wanted to stay longer but circumstances was a bit over me. Loved my colleagues some were like a family to me. I loved the manufacturing plant. Office set up was ok. I enjoyed the Draughting software. All in all I enjoyed my working years at Weir Minerals.

Cons: lack of growth and under utilised. Favouritism

Good learning curve

Thanksgiving cares about employees as they are assets to the company There is a lot of opportunities to learn and the experience is more than expected
