A start when you in need of a job, but there is no growth.

i enjoy working there as the relationship with colleges is excellent, we are multi race and get on very well , im basically a peoples person and love to smile a lot.i learned how to deal with customers in all categories and to be efficient and on your toes, when its time to work, i meet customers that would give advice on life challenges out there which brings out a lot of thought for life and future goals, i really don,t find my job challenging as i,m always ready to learn and add new experience to my life, what i have learned is not everyday of your working days are going to be the same, but its about being patient understanding a customers need and being patient.

Pros: no opportunity for promotion very small store
Cons: long working hours and no time for family

Excellent customer service and get promoted for good service

My experience that I have learned it is important to work as a team,because if you work as a individual you won't make it because of the pressure from the parents who want their children's stationery on time and the staff who is behind with their work and you need to be focused and go extra mile if you want to overcome and achieve what you want. My job description was to capture,invoice and pick and pack the stationery and make sure it went on schools on time and give good customer service to the walk in customers.

Pros: My aim was to get a permanent positiom
Cons: I was working overtime sometimes 7:45am till 11pm

Excellent learning

Its when u did not finish your work on time and asked to staybehind and finish your work.relationship with workes was not that bad.I learn to work with different Ethic groups also learn to be on time to do my job done.what I enjoy most was working in a safe,Clean company, and Work Overtime cause more money coming. The challenging aspects of the job Its when u knock off very late and ended up stranded for transport.working for my company was a wonderful opportunity.

Learn more everyday

I'm writing w.r t.my last position at Importalia. Day starts at 08:30 and it is then to focus, if there is enough time you can take a break, but its wise to put in the extra mile during break time. We work great as a team and help each other when necessary. I've learned a lot, eg foreign exchange rates, shipping, etc. It was a great experience, because everyday you can learn more and face new challenges.

Cons: To put in extra effort

..............very busy every day on my feet dealing with different types of people everyday. ................. I learnt alot about sales and how to sell new products. I enjoy working and meeting new people everyday because it's very interesting.

Im 29 years looking for employment in these three fields reception;admin and sales i haveover 10 years experience and also have excellent communication skills i am fluent in English ;Zulu and Xhosa im a team player i enjoy working with people and also work well indivisually

Diploma in marketing

Good working environment

I work from an office situated at the warehouse. I handle cash so my office is closed at all times. In the morning I bank the previous days cash received from drivers, my manager verifies the cash before it is banked. During the day i release all EFT and cash orders that are invoiced at the invoice, I also check whether or not payments are reflecting in our bank account. My job is also to reconcile all COD orders.

Pros: growth opportunity
Cons: Dealing with cash means there is no room for error
