Company still lives in the 60's

Good work life balance with a high focus on family, however in the end you are not rewarded for being a top performer. Not driven for improvements and remains doing the same things that was done decades ago

Pros: Long term employment
Cons: Below inflation increases

Excellent learning

Doing a day to day maintenance, changing sloping chutes liners, repairing chutes, feed hoppers etc.. We do fabrications when necessary.. Relationship with coworkers it's nice since I started my apprenticeship till I qualified. I have learned a lot since I joined the company, team work and support... I enjoy doing my job as a boilermaker, both maintenance and fabrication. The most challenging aspect was to work in the mixers, because it was my first time, so it was very challenging

Pros: Great opportunity to learn more
Cons: Long working hours
