Excellent learnig curve, picker, tranfer stock and dat capture

It was a work whereby we receive invoice with a type of description of medicine you have to go pick it from certain bin they wrote on that invoice. It was energetic environment, we work as a team to meet deadline each an every day. As an colleagues we used to enjoy our self's communicate on how to meet our deadline and also help each other. Working at UPD I was a picker with no experience, but I learn how to operate fork lift and also learn how to adjust stock, stock taking, credit stock and scan invoice, I also see growth in that company. It was like a family members they look for each other as colleagues and that job we used to do on our daily basis it make us energetic that wat I enjoy the most. There was so much pressure because we need to meet deadline, but with a dedicated team we have we manage to meet deadline

Great learning

I I am a young women and I have just completed my Diploma in Financial information Systems at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU). Excellent working environment

I learnt how to communicate with clients in a professional way also how to work being under a lot of pressure.my daily routine was collection of money from our clients in ,30 days period and solving of clients queries

Great work place

For the past years working in UPD, ive learnt that only team work gets the job done,participation gives you the opportunity to learn, I enjoy being being posted to different departments, picking, checking, receiving, fridge, so that I can learn most of things and how they done, stock control is the most challenging cause it's nothing like you did last night or the previous day,

Pros: Not a great opportunity for promotion

Excellent working experience

Our company operates like any other big companies, working environment is great, staff excellent with clean warehouse. What I enjoy most is communicating with our friendly clients. The most challenging aspect is dealing with rude customers who refuse to pay company its money

Fast paced enviroment

New enviroment

i started working at upd as a despatch clerk ,assistant team leader then worked at export as an export clerk, imcurrently working as a fleet admin assistant

Excellent learning curve

Working at a pharmaceutical company was challenging. One has to be accurate when picking and checking sensitive things such as medicine. I have learned a lot about time keeping because I got an opportunity to deal a lot with urgent orders wich we called hospital case. We worked with also deaf people. Working in different departments was wonderful because I learned a lot.

Th3 company was okay but they were not paying wellplici had to look for other opportunities to expand and enhance my career and myself seli need to work a company that is going to pay me well so that I can put 100% efforts ensuring that I benefit the company and utilize my skills acquired from the universities I have attended from.
