A day in the life of a lecturer

some days are slow then others. i have a great working relationship with my co-workers. i have learnt a lot. not only things related to my qualification but also general life skills. i enjoy being in the lab mostly but i also enjoys the outdoor field work.

Maintaining good Customer care

Helping students with Courier, emails and Faxes of Assignments, Helping with Tutorial Classes, Financial up dates in terms of study fees, Registration and other administration job related Team work was good because we could able to finish huge job within a short space of time and have learn that happy client cost less i was enjoyed Team work because in reality there is no organization where you will work without talking to someone Challenging is when you work without getting paid and expected to deliver excellent customer care and not being notified whats going on

Pros: Able to perform Supervisors Job
Cons: 8 hours and overtime when required

Excellent learning curve

Working at UNISA has taught me alot. I've learned that in order to get what you want I'm life, you need to be focused, have passion of what you do regardless. The moment you call inlove with your job, the easier it gets. I have good relationship with my colleagues and my supervisor due to the fact that I am young woman, who works really hard. My supervisor is always impressed with the work I do I'm daily basis.

Excellent

I m also done the the typing work ,data captured,scanning,faxing ,used an email,ms word,excel,powerpoint,taking calls from the client with good communication,filling of documents ,making of access students cards as well as staff.I m looking for better field industry . .

Pros: Great opportunity of shortlisting
Cons: normally hours but if its busy I will work the over time due to help the students .

A discreet,manageable,honesty and a great security checks

Working well with people,assisting efficiency in the exam room,pushing hard to target the job for the day Student sometimes they can stress you but I handle them in a polite way as I understand that they have a lot in their plate Communicating is my strong points and I do enjoy assisting them and make sure that their answer sheets are filled in a completed manner

Its indeed excellent

Dear Sir/Madam I’m currently working atunisa as an administration officer exams division since august till present were my skills have been tested for accuracy and vigilance. Honesty and confidentiality is a serious policy in my department as I’m dealing with sensitive information of over a million students worldwide. I’ve been trained within my department were I can safely say I’m confident in carrying out my responsibilities in the exams division also in assignments were I was deployed for a certain period to assist with workload. My responsibilities in my work at exams entails the following systems that I had to practice on a day to day basis is to assist the students by making use of the student systems functions. Good benefits and working hours.

Great work life balance. Typical day very calm. Enjoy the culture. I have a very good relationship with my co-workers and manager. Challenging aspects - the security measures and admin around that.
