the company i work for is one the top employers, has proper benefits. However, many people who have reached their years are not ready to go on a pension, which makes it difficult to have a set way of doing things. We are moving in the 4th industrial Revolution which means more fresher minds.

Vast learning experience from ports experience and engineering

Good place to learn different sectors, freight, engineering and do much more. The end- users are demanding because of the tight deadlines , therefore procurement officials has tight deadline and turnaround times to deliver a project.

Excellent learning curve

I have 8 years of experience working in the public sector environment. I love working in the supply chain environment even though it comes with challenges but I have grown and learnt to be a team player, I can multi work and learnt more to have integrity in my work.

Excellent opportunity

My typical work day was challenging doing all administration, I enjoyed interacting with people at all levels. I enjoyed my work as it was never the same. I enjoy dealing with getting quotation done on the procurement side and ensure to comply with the Procurement Purchasing procedures and legal policies. My most challenging was to act as Depot manager when on annual leave. I learned a great deal in compiling comparison report and control of eight depots ensuring budgets are correctly done and scrutinize on a regular basis. My Manager Mr J Taljaard can be contacted. As he will ensure you that I am the best candidate for any Administrative post. Thanking you.

No growth

i t so good to work in but there is no growth and they are no longer hiring permanent unless you have some one on a management level.they underpay their employees wheres they need your qualifications.

Excellent learning curve

-processing claims -great bosses -bosses never at work -you do not get shouted at for mistakes but are asked to learn from them -you get to work with a lot of suppliers and clients -we did a lot of travelling

Overall responsible for Railway Safety Compliance

Ensure Railway Safety Permit Validity, Engage both internal and external stakeholders, advise and follow up on strategic issues. Enjoy engaging and interacting with various level of stakeholders. The most challenging aspect of the job is to deal with Railway Safety Regulators urgent deadlines and further having to deal with the National Issues.

Excellent learning curve and fun place to work at with lots of benefits and rewards

the daily work was fun and the team were as family, sharing with one another and building a dynamic team work, we learned from one another and taught one another so we can be a complete team, i learned also that doing your work with out the co worker brings no success as one chain link in the process is broken everything stand still. the most joyful feeling is to go home everyday know the work or the target for the day is completed.the challenging aspects was if the goals or the instruction are not communicated clearly whether in the team or from management it causes confusion.
