Great exposure to learning environment

the sugar industry has taught me a lot in life as interact with quite a huge number of fellow employees from various departments .The departments range from our Hospital , agriculture, sugar mill ,marketing ,packaging etc .All these departments have different systems in place which i support and because of the great relationships built over the years one gets to have a great appreciation of the sugar industry and how different components of the business integrate towards one goal. Most challenging aspect is areas that operate 24/7 , these tend to lead to working abnormal hours where there are call outs at night .

Pros: exposure to different operations leading to a wealth of knowledge
Cons: abnormal working hours during cane crushing season

I am not South African I am a Mozambican I am in Training Management and training delivery to all level of agric. farming employee,and supervisors and Managers, I redy tu use farming implements, farming agrochemmical, fertilizers, pests and incecticids as per reconmendation, decision Making, SHE aspects priority

Pros: Badgeting finuntioal control, Managing people, goal achivement, training and development, yealds improvement SMART
Cons: commitments not complied, agreements neglected

Excellent learning curve

Analysis of sugar factory samples for standard and quality. I am compatible with co-workers. I have learnt to work under pressure, to think on the think on the go , to initiate and to improvise. I enjoy discovering new things. Working with various chemicals is a challenging aspect of this job .

Pros: economic affordability
Cons: shift work
