Working at twt was very challenging because i had tomake sure that the shop is clean and had to smile even if the customer is rude,and the company doesn't grow its stuff,especially General office assistance,sometimes they made me give up and discouraged me,it ended up not being a nice place to work at,my co workers were very friendly but also complained about the company not caring about some of their needs,like growing them and giving opportunities to grow,I learned to grow my customer service,to be more friendly and to enjoy my job,I enjoyed talking and learning from my co workers,skill they had.the challenges were keeping the whole shop clean and finding blood in the bathrooms that u had to clean and aldo vleaning big Windows with just a cloth and having to go up and down the ladder.sometimes they changed managers in a short period,when you getting to know the new one then they bring another on,
Pros: They always advertised internal but never promoted us

Great learning curve
We have really hectic days, we start with spot checks and sorting out the previous day's paperwork like day end, GRV' ss, IBT's and credit notes. I answer all my emails and send the necessary reports through, I then capture the new stock into the system. I check my cashiers filing for the previous day then I chack that all the employees are dressed correctly I make surey GOA does what she is supposed to, I check the house keeping. I have great relationship with all our employees I think it is extremely important. I have learned alot, how to be stronger as a person, I have learned reaponsabiliry, and loads more, I enjoy the fact that I work unsupervised most of the time that I know what I have to do and I always try to send everything before deadlines. Being held responsible for areas that are not my sections and that I have no say over.
Pros: You gain experience in so many areas. And grow stronger as a person
Cons: The working hours, the regionals swearing you over emails for other peoples issues

Well experienced administrator
Good day I am a hard worker that is always willing to learn to expand my knowledge. I have 4 years experience in switchboard and 2 years experience in administration. My duties include a bit of everything when it comes to the financial part of a retail environment. I have experience in debtors, creditors , HR relates duties , cashbook, wages , income statements , budgets as well as filing and record keeping. I also handle all administrative related duties in my branch. I also have completes courses in excel 2013 , telephone techniques and customer service. I have a little experience in debt collecting as I worked for a law firm dealing in collecting debt for financial institutions such as Absa and African bank. I am a hardworking and self-motivated individual. Organising are one of my strong points. I'm good at multitasking. I'm the face of the company that's why I always look neat & tidy.I always answer the switchboard in a welcoming and friendly voice tone.I also do payments with the customer,so I always go and extra mile with customers by explaining to them the service that has been delivered.I'm a team worker,so I'm always helpful towards my colleagues

I work only for survival while looking a job.
The job that i currently do (Wheel alignment assistant) is not benefiting my PC Engineering qualification, what i need is a job in my lane to develop my knowledge and experience. What i enjoy most is the team work support we have in the workshop, i a very good working relationship with my co-workers. I get a lot of experience in customer service an reliable work implementation. The most challenging aspect of my job is physically adjusting cars because u might hurt yourself if not careful, and working in cold weather condition.
Pros: Great opportunity to gain working environment experience
Cons: Racist customers, my career delays and uncomfortable job.

Hard retail and long hours
- long hours without lunch breaks -no holidays off -in at 7am out at 6pm -good training and experience available -good team environment -strong values that grow a person -comm structure and incentives always change

My Experience
Good day Sir/Madam My job description in tiger wheel & tyre is to perform wheel alignment on vehicles, to adjust the vehicle according to specifications having wheels on a tracking line and to centerline the steering wheel to avoid a vehicle not to pull towards one side when accelerating, doing extra modifications. Identifying different types of suspension, checking suspension parts if worn we replace parts.I've achieved many goals with team work its inspire our work force when performing a job on time,

Advantage in learning
It time for change looking for more experience and growth in other industries and a better way to better my experience in my work, a typical day at TwT would be helping my Co worker and customers that we get on daily basis. It's mind fruitful to work at Tiger only if you are eager to learn
Pros: It gives you opportunity to learn and grow with in the company it helps one to better their careers and be able to do what you wanted while working for them
Cons: The hours can be crazy more especially if we have to do stock take and go home in late hours of the day

Excellent learning curve
Enjoyed working for the company. Days were long and work was hard on your feet all day. I had lots of opportunities for learning and am grateful for that technical knowledge. Learnt how to close and and sell up quickly and effectively. Co workers were overworked and stressed out but over all we had a great relationship work hard and jovial attitude after

Tiger Wheel and Tyre. Great company
Amazing company to work for. Huge growth opportunities . Varied work. Debtors, creditors, Gl, budgets. Staff management. Lots of training available. Hours are long being in the retail industry.
